Will this work with an AC infinity axial fan?

This control will not work with an AC fan.

Can I use this on any brand of ceiling fan???

You can use this on any fan that is: 120V, capacitor start/capacitor run, and single speed. The fan must also draw fewer than 6 amps during start-up and while running. If your fan satisfies all of those parameters, you are good to go!

I have an old emerson model k55hxkwn-8586 1/3 hp & 5.7 amp motor with a start capacitor. will this controller work?

I would recommend our SC 150F (8 amp) control. Fans can draw more amps at start up and this would burn the control out.

Can I use this switch on a 40 year old Hunter whole house attic fan. Attic fan has a 3.6 amp motor with 7.5uf capacitor attached to it.

It will probably work, but we cannot guarantee that it will work without knowing the specifics of the other fan. The motor must be a capacitor start/capacitor run type of motor.
