Excellent item.
I am using this as a reflector for a laser beam intrusion detector. As expected, there is a little bit of scattering from a lens of this design, but that is exactly what I wanted so the aiming is not as critical as if the beam were exactly columnar as it would be with a flat mirror. A little pricey for what it is, but it got the job done, so I am pleased.

Worked on a gate exit sensor!
Worked as expected! Gate exit sensor was broken causing the gate to stay open. Replaced this reflector and the gate returned to normal function.

Great reflector
Great for backyard rolling gate laser

a perfect fit for replacing the reflector on my gate and driveway(eagle 2000 door system)
Easy to install and waterproof — a perfect fit for replacing the reflector on my gate and driveway. The quality is excellent, and it was delivered quickly. It solved my gate sensor issue right away and works exactly as described. My only complaint is that the price is a little on the higher side, but overall, I’m very satisfied.

Watch out, some sellers sell cheap Chinese reflectors, not the German ones
I needed a solution for my two gates not closing in early mornings when the reflector was covered with dew, I was hoping that a better reflector would be able to reflect the beam through the droplets. wiping the reflectors with a rag allowed the electronic eye (aka photoelectric sensor) to sense that there is no obstruction and closed the gate. the first time I purchased these reflectors, I did not pay attention who the seller was (Gate Openers Unlimited) and I received cheap Chinese sate-lite 35 reflectors, identical to the reflectors which were originally installed on our gates, luckily I was able to return them at no cost. there is definitely a difference between the Chinese reflectors and the German ones, however, I cannot quantify it since I do not have any instruments to measure. the German reflector seems clearer and has fewer but larger corner reflectors. when I converted the reflector with my hand, I was able to get enough of a reflection to trigger the photosensor even when about 90% of the reflector was covered (though I did not try the same test with the cheap Chinese reflector) in an attempt to prevent dew droplets from collecting on the reflectors, I also put each reflector inside a 3" ABS cap (which has an inside diameter of about 3.5") and then stuck a short length of 3" ABS pipe into the cap, forming a hood (see enclosed photo), which, in theory, should protect the reflectors from dew/moisture/rain but as we all know, In theory, there Is no difference between theory and practice, while In practice there Is... yet so far, in two mornings, the gate was able to automagically close, there was plenty of dew on the ABS pipe, and nothing on the reflector the only disadvantage to the ABS pipes that I see as of now, is that I'll have to watch for spiders making a house inside the ABS pipe, as their web will block the light

Incredibly reflective and ideal for long range sensing...
I wish these were available in a multi-pack for better pricing. Extremely reflective and ideal for long range beam sensors. For maximum range (like 50' to 200') where the sensor beam has broadened out, use multiple reflectors in a tight cluster with a homemade weather hood. If condensation (dew) on the reflector is a problem, attaching the reflectors to a homemade 12V-24V aluminum 'warming plate' gently heated by bolt-on 'power resistors' will solve that - only a couple of watts will warm the reflectors above the dew point. You can insulate the rear side of the aluminum plate or mount it to wood. (FYI: Watts = Volts x Current, or Current^2 x Resistance, or Volts^2 / Resistance).

Easy to install and waterproof.
Works well. Our gate now opens and closes again. The old reflector became cloudy and made our gate freeze in an open position. The new reflector is waterproof so I hope to avoid that situation again. It was easy to install and arrived on time. No problems.

Very reflective, more than doubled beam sensor distance
I bought this for a beam sensor that may span a long distance, potentially 10-20 feet. The sensor came with a small square reflector that allowed 8-10' of distance reliably but no more. This reflector at least doubled the distance. I took off one star because it arrived with some permanent scuff marks on the lens. They appear small enough that they won't affect the performance.

The cost is more though you won't regret it. The end result is you got professional item
