Apples to Apples with a Twist
This game is so much fun! We played it at a friends house and immediately fell in love. It is very similar to apples to apples. You have a judge who draws a picture and then everyone else anonymously plays captions to caption the picture with. The judge then reads all of the captions and picks their favorite. The person who played the caption then gets the card. We were amazed at how probably 95 percent on the cards can make any picture funny. You can also add the thrill of after the judge selects their favorite caption they can guess who played the caption. If they guess right they get to keep the card, and the person who played the caption gets nothing. We play like this occasionally but most of the time just give the card to the person who played the selected caption. After we played at our friends house we immediately came to amazon, because thats where i do most of my shopping, and ordered a game for ourselves. My family and friends love this game so much. We laugh so hard when we play. I love any game that can make everyone who is playing have a stomach ache from laughing so hard.

A blast
I got this for my sister's family for Christmas. We had a blast and lost track of time. The youngest is 10, oldest 40 something and 6 of us played for about 2-3 hours. There were comments made in other reviews about inappropriate cards. Some cards were not always appropriate for the picture chosen, but the adults chose to not use those cards at that time. Each round is fun because you could get a handful of hilarious captions or really lame ones. I don't see how you could ever overlap cards and pictures. There's just so many. We played so the winner of the caption chose the next picture. Everyone had a turn to judge and no one knew who would be judging next and everyone had to play if they wanted a chance to judge. It's also impossible to cheat at this game and that made it even more fun.

Similar to Apples 2 Apples, but better
Our family still likes to have a weekly game night, it gives us a chance to reconnect after a hectic week of school and work. Over the years, we've tried a huge array of board games with varying themes and levels of difficulty to match the age/skill level of our family. Currently, our kids range from elementary school to College, so finding games that everyone can play and truly enjoy can be challenging. We have our go-to games like trouble, charades, Dutch Blitz, aggravation, A2A, etc. but, always looking for new games to add to the repertoire. We tried Bubble Talk based on a friend's recommendation, and we haven't been disappointed. It is very much like apples to apples - A picture is selected by one player, who serves as the judge. Each of the other players has a hand of randomly dealt picture captions they can use to describe the picture, and you select the one you think will be picked by the judge as most appropriate for the picture. Most of the pictures are humorous in and of themselves, and the designers did a nice job of crafting funny captions to match. In our experience, there are very few rounds where you feel as though you have zero captions remotely relevant to the given picture, which contrasts nicely with A2A. To date, we haven't found any inappropriate captions or pictures. But, while we are enjoying Bubble Talk, I do think sense that after running through the pics and captions once or twice, it will become overly familiar and less humorous.

FUN!
We have played this game with a 5 year old on up to a 70 year old and we were all laughing. It is easy to play and the time spent together is better than sitting in front of a TV. No inappropriate cards as I have seen in other card games similar to this.

Good start, but low replay value.
The first few times we played it, it was hilarious, but the replay value isn't very high. The quote bubbles and pictures are varied, but more often than not, matching a quote to a picture is just awkward. Every once in a while, the stars align and a sweet match is made, but more often than not, it's rather mediocre, and even though each round is different, they all feel the same. It's a good concept, but could have been executed better IMO.

Great game for the whole family!
Bubble Talk is a fun game for everyone in the family! It makes everyone laugh, and is kid friendly.Basically, bubble talk is kind of like the classic game Apples to Apples, but with memes. Everyone gets 5 cards that say random things like, "but you always get to be the bad guy" or "this is the last time I do internet dating".Then there are the picture cards. These cards have pictures that look kind of funny, such as a dog using a computer or a cow stuck on a fence. One of the picture cards is displayed where everyone can see it and everyone picks one card from their hand that they think best matches the picture and places it face down in the middle. Then, the judge chooses the funniest caption that goes with the picture, and the person with that card wins that round. The first to 5 wins. This game really makes us laugh out loud!

More Fun Than I Thought It Would Be
I bought this at my son's request, and when I first opened it, I wasn't too impressed by the box cover; however, we had a blast playing this game. I like that you can make this game as long or short as you need - you're not stuck trying to convince your kids to finish this game. I highly recommend for all ages - it's a little bit like a friendlier Cards Against Humanity

Not Apples to Apples
The photos simply left a lot to be desired. So many opportunities for the game design to be of higher quality for more fun. The photos are not interesting and the descriptions are also somewhat blah. Good idea but weak implementation. I suspect others have captured the idea of memes much better.
