Bright, strong, and good for the price
I saw a lot of 1-star reviews as well as many questionable 5-stars but I purchased anyway and am pleased with my decision. First off, this is not going to last several hours straight. The battery will run down within a couple hours I use it in the car, short walks, and for short periods when looking for something in the dark. It is quite bright and adjustable from a wide view down to a little square. It has 5 modes: high, medium, low, strobe and SOS. I have no use for strobe but the SOS feature is a nice bonus. It feels heavy-duty, made of aluminum, and the push button switch feels consistently accurate but I can't say whether or not it will last. I've had switches fail on cheap flashlights before so I'm always concerned about the switch over almost anything else. There are 4 small torque screws around the switch plate so it would be easy to access the switch if necessary. I'm wondering if there are different versions of this light being sold. Many reviewers are talking about AA and AAA batteries and that some came with no batteries but mine, as advertised came with a rechargeable 2000 mAh 18650 battery that slides into a plastic tube inside the handle. (+ side down). I was concerned the battery would move and cause the battery to misalign but it hasn't been an issue and it doesn't rattle when shaking it. It charges via USB type C cable with a USB A port to charge your phone, earbuds, etc. If you have an 18650 charger and a spare battery that would be a bonus. Being only 2,000 mAh I would only use it to charge my phone if I had no power and didn't need the flashlight but it could come in handy in some situations. I have never ran it all the way down but I did charge it about 2 weeks ago and used it for a minute or so here and there and then the other day I turned it on high and let it sit for an hour and it dropped down one level. (4 lights is full and it dropped to the 3rd light) I don't know how accurate the power level is but It was still fully bright after an hour straight. For the price, it's better than I expected. It's certainly not the best flashlight I own but it's far from the worst and I have no complaints.

Very bright
This is a very bright flashlight. The only thing I'd change is for the light to remember the last brightness setting and turn on to that setting when you turn it on. As it is, the flashlight immediately jumps to the maximum brightness when you first turn it on.

It meets my needs !!!
Plenty bright. Although I doubt the claim it can illuminate things up to a third mile away. But someone that far away will certainly see a bright light. It Does light up my large back yard.Rechargeable without removing the battery. Sufficient battery life for my needs. Charges in a few hours, so it can be ready to use with confidence at any time.Spare rechargeable batteries are readily available. So if I’m planning to use it for a longer time I can pop a couple of these small spares into my pocket.Recharging port is sealed. So rain won’t affect it or wet the insides. All in all, just what I needed.

Not very bright. Good "every room" flashlight.
I keep expecting better performance over the years but cheap lights are exactly that. Ad says "2pack" but I was only shipped one light. I complained to have a 2nd shipping out. Thank you Amazon. One of these for $16 isn't worth it in my opinion. Two for $16 is a decent value.Pros:-Cheap (if you get two for $15.99)-Rechargeable-Will accept 26650 cells-Nice housing-Battery level indicator-Zoom out (large) covers a large area. Great for walking trails.Cons:-Light output lacking for a light this size.-Zoom in (small) beam pattern is square.-Zoom in intensity seems unchanged. Should be much brighter.
