My Borzoi puppies can get a little doggy smelling between baths and especially after being out running.We love the scent of gingerbread, so when I seen this scent, I thought I would give it a go.It smells amazing and doesn't just mask their doggy scent.I sprayed a couple of wee squirts of it on my hands and just rubbed it over them. The scent has lasted. Its lovely. I now have gingerbread puppies. Thrilled. And my house smells yummy too. I ordered another bottle before it was gone.

However, this is likely more a characteristic of dog colognes in general rather than a specific issue with BUGALUGS. Overall, a great addition to the Christmas festivities for your furry friend.

I was worried that this spray would be too gingery, which I know is silly as it's a gingerbread cookie scent, but sometimes ginger can be too overpowering. I was happy that the spray indeed smells like a ginger cookie, like a gingerbread man with a vanilla undertone and a sprinkling of other Christmas spices.Not only did my dog seem to like the smell of this spray, she's loving all the additional kisses and cuddles, so we all have an excuse to smell her new cookie perfume.My favourite thing about this spray, aside from the scent, is that it doesn't contain any nasties; it's gentle, removing mineral build-up, but also helps nourish your dog's skin.FYI, a little spray goes a long way, and this scent sort of builds as it settles onto your dog's coat, so don't spray too much in one go; give a couple of sprays, then wait a little while to assess how the aromas are going.

Smells amazing but it probably only last an hour or so

This 'cologne' certainly is a very accurate - and powerful - recreation of festive spice. You'll know whether or not that's going to appeal to you, but I love those seasonal smells, so I think it's great! This isn't a replacement for a proper bath of course, but for a nice freshen up that carries throughout the house it's highly recommended. Given its strength you won't need much of it (especially if you have a smaller dog), which is a good thing in my opinion as the bottle should last all of the Christmas season comfortably. Presented in a pump-spray bottle with a sweetly illustrated cartoon label, this would make a nice early Christmas gift for dog owners.
