Good quality, works great, no more motion sickness, comfortable and easy to set up and use too.
The media could not be loaded. A friend of mine has motion sickness, and so do I, but he found this watch that fixed his. I went looking where I found this one with good specs, and I had to get one to try. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, it is very easy to set up and use. I like how there are simple-to-use buttons to configure and use with little effort to start and stop it. I also like how the instructions walk through step by step, and I had this one up and running within a few minutes. Secondly, it works. I like how I can adjust it to my specific needs, and even on a lower setting, I have no more motion sickness and am so happy to be rid of it, too, finally. Lastly, it lasts. I like how the battery is easy to charge with the included quick-release cable, and after charging, I love how it lasts for days between charges, too. No cons, it worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase.

a motion sickness band for the space age
The media could not be loaded. I first heard about motion sickness bands when talking to others about hating taking drugs to help with nausea on long plane trips. It knocks me out and I hate the way it makes me feel. Having my doubts that a pressure point can actually help with motion sickness, I went to the pharmacy and actually found that those bands are actually a thing, not just some story passed around as home-grown cures. The idea is that when you apply pressure to a specific point near your wrist, you will have less motion sickness. The band sold at CVS places pressure on this point, but it's elastic so I didn't feel like it did much. What the Piatrei Motion Sickness Bands does instead is to combine a massaging action to the pressure point along with electrical stimulation to give the maximum effect. Combine that with the fact that this a silicone watch band and not elastic, there is constant pressure on that point. This watch is designed to be worn on the inside of the wrist directly above the pressure point, which is about three finger-widths from the first fold on your wrist. A bit higher than I was expecting (I think that's where I went wrong with the CVS band. I put it at the wrong location).I found the directions to be pretty clear. Tap the top button to make the electricity icon flash then press the left buttons up and down to adjust the strength of the electrical stimulation. Tap the bottom left button to make the massage icon flash then press the left buttons up and down to adjust massage strength.Hold both left side buttons to make the 30 minute timer flash, then press the large right button to start the stimulation (both electric and massage). Unfortunately, you can't turn off either mode. When you turn on stimulation, both electric and massage will turn on. In addition, there is a breath timer that gives a small tweet to help you regulate your breathing for maximum effectiveness. The electrical stimulation takes some getting used to but as I'm typing this review (just testing it out), I've already gotten used to it. Note that the tighter you wear this watch, the stronger the electrical stimulation will feel.As an alternative to taking Dramamine, this watch is a healthier way to stave off motion sickness without the drowsiness.

Not for me
I cannot attest to how this works as I ended up sending it back after trying it. I had the electric pulses on the lowest setting and the shock was so irritating I just could not get past it. It has to be set every 30 minutes instead of a constant on. I can't imagine having to do this even on a 2 hour flight. The instructions are not clear as to how this works if you are unfamiliar with it. A guessing game.

READ this review before BUYING
Ordered this to go on my first cruise for motion sickness. Read all instructions had watch in its proper place it had minimal effectiveness at lower settings THE WORST PART! The worst part the battery only lasts an HOUR! Cruise rescheduled, now I can't return huge waste of money and less than desirable trip.

Ok. Expected more for the price.
I purchased this along with another motion sickness band to compare. I have very bad motions sickness and it’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. While this band was ok, it was not very user friendly in my opinion and didn’t seem to work as well as the other band. Probably would have been fine with it if I didn’t have the other band to compare to.

Perfect!
I bought this for my niece who has a big problem with motion sickness. She has trouble just riding in a car. Here is what she had to say: "I tested it out and it works great! I even tried watching something on my phone while we were driving and I wasn't motion sick at all. The watch band is a little long but it comes with a shorter one that's perfect. It is comfortable. It's easy to set up, but the power display powers off pretty quickly when it isn't active. So when you're pressing through the settings you have to do it quickly or it will time out and turn off. It has a pretty wide range of settings for intensity/pressure which is nice. This will be a game-changer for road trips!"
