Nope. Don't buy it.
Two stars because its very well made. Minus 3 because it provides zero grip on the filter. I have two filters for my honda and toyota, and thankfully tried the tool out with the new filter. At best this might work on a really loose filter and you'll have to hold it closed while turning the wrench. There's just no friction and the filters I checked it out on have the rough sandpaper texture on the outside.I see that some companies have put rubber tips on it, and some have serrated the surface of the prongs. That might be better. I could wrap the prongs in some friction tape if I was hard pressed to use it and had no other options.Heading now to buy another option.
