This is the first peeler I have had like this. I am definitely a beginner at working one of these. Taking that into consideration, some of the flaws could have been user error.I wanted this for both apples and potatoes as I hate peeling anything to prepare it for the kids. The factory adjusted setting of the peeler arm didn't seem to be doing the peeling job well so it had to be adjusted closer. It still wasn't working well and I adjusted it even closer at that point. It had to be adjusted so close to cleanly peel the apple that it actually left divot rings all the way around the entire apple. I also adjusted the peeler blade farther out than recommended because I just couldn't get a clean peel which is what caused the divots around the apple. This isn't the peelers fault as apples and potatoes are all sorts of different shapes and sizes so this is all completely understandable. All of the blades are ridiculously sharp so A+ for that and it comes with extra blades for when these dull. The apple corer worked well too. I did unscrew the holding nut for the slicing blade to move it out of the way as I didn't want the apple sliced that way but it worked really well when I used it for the potato to make a spiral which could be spiced up and thrown in the oven as a delicious snack. The suction base is sturdy and stuck to my kitchen counter with ease. Everything was easy to clean and dried well in a short time after washing. Overall, I probably won't use this every day but it will come in handy when making an apple pie or some tasty potato snacks in the oven.

At first this was great but now it peels too deep into the apples

I was really surprised at how well this Kitchen tool worked. I have only used on apples so far and am looking forward to trying some potato dishes I have in my head I am thinking some Air-fried Potato rings. The tool is well made and the Design is pretty well thought out. There is enough adjustments on the Corer and Slicer that allows slightly odd shaped apples to be cored well enough. WE really enjoy apples for snacks and even though it takes a little more effort to slice the apples up we like the consistent slices. The Suction cup hold down works really well on our Faux granite counter tops and it 's pretty easy to clean.

This is a pretty convenient tool if you eat a. lot of apples or if you need to peel a lot of apples for a pie, dessert, etc.The suction didn't really work well for me, and the part that peels got clogged a little, but that's normal for the most part with apple peelers, I think. It peels a little too deep into the apple than I would prefer instead of just slicing the peel off close to the apple. But I think that's a personal preference.If you eat/peel a lot of apples, this will save you a lot of time.
