Fantastic to help with recovery after gym sessions
I got this for my partner who goes to the gym. After watching Eddie Hall (a lot!) I thought I would buy this and see if it helps. My partner said it has really helped with her recovery of his muscle's after the gym. It doesn't take so long for him to recover from the aches and pains now, so he can get back to the gym more often. It also tastes really nice!! ❤️

Great tasting but definitely a recover sheet
First impressions, the tub is ginormous. However, the recommended dose is two scoops so actually won’t last you as long as you might initially think.Tastes fantastic. I got the cookies and cream which although is a little bit sweet. I’ve definitely had sweeter and more chemically tasting sweetness.Mixes quite well. I use both the mesh and a ball in my shakers so I never have an issue with mixing protein mix as well with peanut butter as well. The downside is as another reviewer has mentioned the sugar content, and I believe you would have to be really careful with this product, especially if you are new to the gym game and new to supplements. Two scoops, which is the recommended gets you, 50 g of sugar roughly. Which if you’re using this as a daily supplement shake is ridiculous. It’s a product aimed as towards people taking PEDs who can ignore the sugar content of things at a really basic levelFor the average normal gym goer like me and you probably like this really needs to be self regulated maybe 2 or 3 times a week, a very heavy sessionDo not chug this shake daily after a workout guaranteed you will put fat on

High in sugar and calories, okay if you are bulking
This is a decent whey powder with each portion having 25g of protein and 400 calories. In my opinion the calorie amount is high so this is okay if you are trying to put on weight and bulk. The protein intake is average but it has too much sugar in my opinion. The taste is good but too sweet for my taste. You get 30 servings, I mixed two scoops in the shaker with water rather than milk and it is a good consistency and blends well. If you are looking to bulk and don't care about sugars or calories then this will be a good option. If you are cutting down and shredding you might want to try a lower calorie option.

Deliciously Dangerous Stuff!
Oh my goodness, this is totally dangerous stuff... why? Because the Cookies and Cream flavour is so delicious that I could totally drink it all the time!OK, maybe not *all* the time but you get my meaning. As a post-gym shake, this is very welcome because I can never eat before training, so by the time I'm done, I'm famished. This really hits the spot, and keeps me full until lunchtime.I've also discovered that if I'm feeling under the weather, and have lost my appetite, it makes a great meal replacer. However, given the amount of sugar in this, it's probably not wise to use like this on a regular basis!Mixing the Beast is easy; I use my immersion blender, which results in a smooth and creamy shake when made with either milk or water. I prefer to use about 350-400ml milk.Having said that it's easy to make up, the first time I made it - and not discovering the scoop, which was waiting to be excavated from the bottom of the jar - I weighed 80g into a glass, and foolishly tried to whisk it up. That didn't entirely go so well, and I ended up with a thick, gritty mess. Albeit a delicious thick, gritty mess. Next time, I dug around for the scoop, which gives a better idea of what 80g of powder looks like, and used my blender. Perfect! While the initial outlay does seem expensive, were I to buy 30 smoothies (30 is how many servings this enormous beast of a jar contains), it would cost me almost three times the price of the Beast Pharm Recover, and wouldn't have nearly as much protein.

aA bit pricey, but very tasty
Beast Pharm's Recover Whey Protein Powder in Cookies & Cream is a bit of a splurge at £49.95 for 2.4kg, offering 30 servings. That's about £1.67 per serving, which might feel steep for some. But, let's delve into why it might just be worth the extra quid.First off, it's backed by none other than Eddie 'The Beast' Hall – the bloke who lifted 500kg, a feat in itself. This endorsement gives it a bit of a credibility boost, especially for those who are serious about their strength training. Now, each serving gives you a whopping 25g of protein. This is great for muscle recovery post-workout. But the real kicker is the 2:1 carbs to protein ratio. This isn't just a protein shake; it's a recovery tool, replenishing your energy and helping you bounce back quicker. The taste is where this protein powder really shines. The Cookies & Cream flavour is absolutely delicious – it's like having a cheat meal without the guilt. It mixes well with both water and milk, though milk gives it a creamier, richer texture. While it might seem a tad pricey, the quality of the product, combined with its great taste, makes it worth a try, especially if you're keen on a protein powder that's more than just, well, protein. Plus, with Amazon Prime's free delivery and 30-day return policy, it's a relatively risk-free purchase. If you're on the fence, perhaps consider it a treat for those days when you've pushed extra hard at the gym.

Cookies and cream
It’s hard to find a protein shake that doesn’t taste too artificial. This tastes exactly like cookies and cream but a bit too sweet for me. It comes with a pre measured scoop which makes preparing the shake much easier. 2 scoops are needed and can be mixed with either milk or water. I do prefer water. Shaking is easy but using a blender gets rid of all the small lumps that shaking can leave behind. A fab way of increasing protein intake and not just for work outs. My 16 year old loves this and gives him the increased calories that he needs.
