I've been getting into seasonings lately when cooking, so I had to try Indian seasoning for the first time. I think the flavor that you get with Chaat Masala is only for specific meals, so when I tried it with steak, it tasted different than what I'm used to.

I havent made chaat with this yet, though I plan to soon, I have used it in various other indian inspired dishes, and really appreciate the complex, interesting flavors!It's slightly tangy, spicy, and has so much going on, that it's really fun to try to identify everything in it while eating. I really like it on chickpeas- I tossed some with oil, and some of this spice, then roasted them til they were nice and crunchy, and they were really delicious! Great to throw on a salad, or just to snack on.This spice blend is really fresh, and a lot of though went into creating it. Great quality!

What I wanted but packed in soft envelope so popped open in shipping, spice spilled. I suspect there was air in the spice package and when pressure was applied by other packages in transit the ‘ziplock’ bag popped open…

I wax pleasantly surprised at the size of this spice package and the amount of product for the price. Seems like a good value for anyone who regularly enjoys Indian cuisine. The flavor of this chaat masala seasoning is good. Very flavorful, not very spicy/hot but a slightly sweet, slightly fruity and salty taste. A little goes a long way, so this large package will last me quite a while. It's also pretty versatile in that you could definitely use this to season meat or poultry dishes, or add some extra flavor to anything. Really enjoying this.

This chaat masala tastes great! I did a taste test over some plain hash brown potatoes. The mix definitely kicked things up a notch. There's a slight heat kick that warms the tongue nicely without being nuclear hot. Then there's the flavor punch. Definite notes of cumin, pepper, ginger, and other fine Indian spices. It's all rounded out with a definite tangy kick courtesy of the dried mango and tamarind. All in all, a complex but delicious taste.Today I tried the chaat masala mix on some hash browns. But I think this would be a really great addition to chicken, ramen noodles, steamed veggies, or plain potato chips. I plan to try all of those with this spice mix!

We enjoyed this spice and used it to make Masala. It comes in a resealable bag and has enough to make many dishes of Masala. The flavor was spot on authenticIn my original review we were worried because the bag had a label covering different ingredients list underneath it. I reached out to the seller for clarification, and they were quick to respond to my questions. Glad for a responsive seller! The seller confirmed that the label on top was the correct ingredients contained in the bag and that some mislabeling occurred on the first bags which was the cause of the mismatch but has now been corrected on future shipments.

Very tasty chaat masala. It has a strong chaat flavor but is not super spicy or peppery. Just a pinch is needed for flavor. I have used it for cooking, on top of pakodas and fruit chaat. It is much better than my regular chaat masala which I have used for decades. Switching to this one in the future.

Better than old brands

Quite good taste and good quality, and is great value for money.
