Much easier to just replace the whole carb instead of tinkering with it and so inexpensive. Works perfect.

Hardest thing was getting the old one off. No adjustment needed idle choke all worked perfectly.

Did the job

This was *almost* identical the original carburetor on my machine... with one exception (which is why I bumped it down from 5 stars). The gaskets that came with this were slightly different from the original gaskets. Luckily the original gaskets were in good shape so I reused them. I don't know if these gaskets would have worked anyway, but I didn't want to risk having to tear everything apart again just to put the original ones back on. That being said, once I got it put back together, it started right up and ran perfectly.

Installed easily on an 2014 Craftsman Snowblower with an 208cx engine and works as I’d expect. I didn’t use the spark plug or fuel filter as of yet.

Such a joy that after installing the carburetor the snowblower started right up.

Quality and price

It took just a few minutes to put in and worked like a champ. They must have the same kit for a lot of models. My snow blower did not have a fuel filter nor is there space for one. This a way better option then taking apart your old one, cleaning the clog perfectly and probably buying a replacement o-ring.
