Bought this for grandson starting football training. He has little prior knowledge of football and this book is just perfect to provide the very basic info needed to help him fit in with more knowledgeable kids who have family with interest and knowledge to impart. He was keen to absorb all the basics and some wider knowledge. Good value and a good but,

Poor in pictures for kids, unfortunately... only text and some rough sketch.. more for adults than kids

This book is perfect for kids and young adults who are looking for fun soccer facts and historical events that will be remembered by generations to come. My son is an avid reader and feel that he enjoyed reading a compilation of information that he has not found anywhere else. Plus, I have to thank the author for saving me time because as my son learns more it is more difficult to answer difficul questions about important events and key players.
