This is exactly what I needed for my cast iron and carbon stee cookware. Very well made, so it should outlast me, but not my cookware. My kids will continue to enjoy it after they inherit them.

This chainmail sponge is exactly what I needed to maintain my cast iron pans. It works well enough, although there have been times that I wanted a finer mesh to get some more stubborn buildup off the pans. But the scraper works well enough that it isn't a huge issue for me.

I picked up an old cast iron skillet at a yard sale recently. It had just a tiny bit of rust but was in pretty good shape overall. It did have some baked on / hard to get off stuff so I tried this scrubber and was very pleased. It wasn’t too hard to get the skillet cleaned up and in a usable shape. I’m pleased with this scrubber.

I like the blue silicone sponge. The triple ring chain mail is the right combination to really flex and be able to scrub my cast iron cookware clean. This scrubber performs better than the ones I got from the factory store in Tennessee. This comes with a ring to hang it up and the stainless and silicone can be sanitized with hot water or a trip through the dishwasher. This design lasts better than sponge and steel wool cleaners for years of use.

If you like cooking with cast iron skillets, then you’re probably going to like this BTLUX brand cast iron scrubber. I had a small piece of chainmail for a few years, but it was hard to grip, and I usually chipped a fingernail while using it. However, this chainmail is securely wrapped around a semi-flexible piece of silicone. It’s much easier to grip and use. Go gently because chainmail cleans faster than one would think. No one wants to accidentally remove 100 years of seasoning from their great grandma’s antique skillet.The chainmail is described as 316 grade stainless steel, which is more resistant to salt, chlorine, and corrosion. It is very easy to clean. I simply rinsed it out in the sink with hot water. It is also dishwasher safe. There is a small ring on the end if you want to hang it from a hook to dry. Unlike a sponge, this scrubber is bacteria resistant. With proper care, I can see it lasting for many years. There is also a small scraper included, but I think the scrubber will handle any food mess that I need. I do have a similar plastic scraper that I sometimes use to scrape my glass casserole dishes.

We finally broke out the cast iron pot to make a batch of chili so this scrubber was put to the test. It did a great job of removing the caked on bits of food without scratching the cast iron or taking off any of the precious seasoning. I love the shape of the included food scraper. It did a great job of getting the sides and larger bits off the bottom. I don't have a dishwasher so I wash everything by hand. Hint: Use a bristle straw cleaner to make quick work of getting anything caught up in the sponge out. It has a metal ring for hanging. The inside is silicone so it's bacteria resistant. The quality is superior and it's made with excellent craftsmanship. It also comes with a lifetime warranty! So, this really is a lifetime sponge. With proper care it should last forever. I wish more companies took this much care and pride in their work. Five stars!

I've used thus scrubber for a few months now and like it quite a bit. I like that it has a ring to hang it by and that it cleans well without too much elbow grease. It's pretty easy to rinse clean after use and seems like it will last quite a long time. So far I am pretty satisfied with it.
