Why pay more?
So, I have just come from using an Apple Watch Series 7 to using this and I’m honestly blown away by how much this watch does at around a tenth of what my Apple Watch cost! My main issues were the poor battery life of the Apple Watch and it just not tracking my sleep and not receiving notifications etc. I have tattoos so this is going to be a problem no matter what smart watch I use, but so far, the Xiaomi has been tracking my sleep no problem and accurately, notifications coming through every time and the battery life is fantastic! I’m still on 81% after 3 days. My Apple Watch died in around 2 days with many of the features disabled. This does everything I need, works well, has a nice vivid display with many choices of watch faces and never needing to worry about the battery dying. It does lack things like NFC but for the cost, you are getting a lot for your money. Very easy to set up via the app as well. I will say I’m not using this for fitness, the only thing I pay attention to is my steps, so I can’t vouch for the accuracy of fitness features but it seems to be pretty accurate with my steps and my heart rate. The calories seem to be way off, though, so if you’re looking for a dedicated fitness tracker you’d probably be better off looking for a Fitbit or something similar.

Can't get over how good the price performance is
I have an iPhone and I recently started working out, so I was meaning to get myself a wearable health tracker that's compatible with my phone. Obviously the first option is an apple watch, but I really didn't want to pay so much money for something I'll use for a very specific and limited use case. Then I thought I couldn't go wrong with a £37 purchase and decided to give this watch a go, and I'm so glad I did.The integration blew my mind. The app can communicate with apple health app and can log in step count, blood oxygen level, heart rate and so on. It can receive notification from messaging apps like apple watch, it even has "find my phone" that vibrates the phone. I bought it under the assumption that it'd operate in its own data bubble, this level of cross-platform compatibility is far beyond my expectation.I'm not a big fan of smartwatches in the first place so I couldn't care less about staying in the apple ecosystem. All I wanted was not having a heart attack while rowing (which is an exercise that it tracks) and still I pretty much got the entire package. Admittedly I never owned an apple watch but I'd be shocked if there's in fact a £750 difference in user experience between two devices in the context that I use.One thing that lost me like 5 minutes until I found the relevant reddit page is that the app design is a bit clunky. The initial user agreement page seems to be stuck. in reality there are two invisible toggle buttons on the left side of the agreement rows. In case anyone else can't figure out what's going on.

Nice product but limited documentation
As a very low cost fitness tracker its good value. Only time will tell if it carries on working but so far so good. The android app works without any problems once I had it configured ( unlike some other trackers! )However the lack of documentation is the reason for the four star rating. The enclosed user manual is 103 pages long BUT only two are in English and those mainly detail safety information. The help web site isn't easy to use when I had minor issue getting out of a sub-menu which it had got stuck in.

Perfect for my kids
I get these Xiaomi smartwatches for my kids, they are solid (they resits a 5yo) and tend to be discreet. They pair with my phone via Bluetooth very easily and you can manage multiple aspect of the watch and its features through the app. They seem accurate for sleep and activity that's the main feature we use. Overall value for money!

Poor for what I wanted
The exercise part of this tracker is fine no problems , it records steps well so great. The massive downside for me is the health monitoring, it's miles out.Having had a bypass operation I like to keep a eye on my heart rate but this sensor seems to add a minimum of 30 beats per minute to my real heart rate. Have reset the tracker several times but always same . I have a ECG machine as well which is very accurate so it's not just a little off.I have a Fitbit charge 5 now and that I can really recommend.
