Pretty easy to install, but a bit time consuming the 1st time due to adjusting the bars. Sturdy enough to put snowboard rack, 2 snowboards, and a pair of skiis for a trip from California to Utah. There was a little bit of wobble once we got to our destination but it held up. Didn't fear that it would fly off. Only downside is they are a bit noisy by itself. Even noisier when our Yakima snowboard rack was on top of it, but noise is more from the rack than the crossbars. I still wouldn't drive with these on year round. You can just store them until you need them. No big deal. Still a good buy for the price.

The roof rack took 15 minutes to install; the directions were clear, and it was easy to adjust the width to fit the manufacturer's roof rails . It is very important to tighten the bolts carefully, and to re-check for tightness every few times you use the racks. I have carried two kayaks on the racks many times and it has stayed tight and strong. Very good value.

These fit great and are relatively easy to install. After using for a while without any car top carrier they do make a little bit of a whistling noise. Seem to be sturdy and it’s nice that they have a locking mechanism

Purchased this Product in the hope of finding a less expensive option than the $500+ Factory Cross Rails. I was a little concerned that this would be a potential "Return" however it turned out to be an exceptional Value!Easily and intuitively Installed on my 2015 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport, these Rails offered more than adequate clearance for my Panoramic Sun Roof. Using the Tool supplied, and considerable wrist twisting...the Rails went up easily and are extremely rigid and solidly constructed.An important note. This are in my opinion very good crossbars. Considering the price, actually they are great. A lot better than I expected. I read some issues in previous reviews. I will post some solutions I found.Read some issues with noise. About that, is important to instal the crossbars appropriately. The bars are different in size and shape. One bar is longer than the other. The longest one is the one that goes to the front of the car, the short one to the back. The bars has one big round border and one thin and narrow, like the wing of a plane. The round border should be pointing to the front.About the locks. Keyhole has a cover, like a little door that slides left to write. This makes the locks waterproof. If you just push your key in, it will give you problems. There is a little notch at the left of the keyhole, you have to slide the little “door” from left to right, that will expose the keyhole and let the key in easily. I Will post some pictures. Using these on a 2017 Santa Fe Ultimate with the huge sunroof. I'm a bit torn on what to rate these. The price is very good and so far they seem to be very usable compared to blowing $600+ on thule or yakima.Mounting was straight forward although the clamps hardly fit the shape of Hyundai and Kia rails. You can tighten the heck out of them so they should hold but definitely not ideal and is obviously a result of trying to make a universal product for rails that are not universal in shape. The key locks are difficult to use, in 2 of mine I practically have to use a second tool to slide the guard out of the way to actually fit the key in the lock. The locks are just to cover the allen bolts so the rack can't be easily stolen, but the guard wouldn't take much for a thief to get through.My main complaint is these are simply really noisy. I've tried them facing both directions and changed the position of the front one and I cannot get the wind noise to go away. It's loud enough even at lower speeds that I just don't want these on the car if I'm not using them to carry something. If I have to remove and reinstall these every time I use them to haul something I'm fairly certain the covers if not the clamps themselves aren't going to last a long time. If these were quiet I would give them 5 stars but they really are noisy enough that it warrants a major deduction.Will update if they don't last or if I have issues with loading more weight than I have so far.

Received a couple days ago and have been waiting for my husband to put on my car. I was too impatient to wait on him and decided to do myself. Extremely easy to install! Took maybe 10 minutes by myself. This fits perfectly on my Hyundai Santa Fe and seems super sturdy. This was also a lot cheaper than what the dealership quoted me at without labor.

Preparing to adventure out into the Kayaking world after being quarantined for 3 months but to do so I need to be able to carry them to the lake and these roofs racks are my first step in doing so. BEST BUY by far. I live off reviews when purchasing form the internet so I hope my review gives you some comfort in making this purchase. I have a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Sport SUV and my wife has a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. These roof racks fit both vehicles and are made of very good material and are super sturdy when mounted properly. BEFORE you go to mount them make sure you mount the longest bar up front. The instructions do not tell you this but you will quickly find out because the shortest bar is not long enough to install up front on these 2 models of Hyundai. These roof racks are not only good looking but they actually add to the look of my SUV. Took me by myself about 10 minutes to install They were package very well and could not be happier with my purchase. Hope this review has helped someone make their decision.

I installed these on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe so I could then install a cage style roof rack that I purchased separately. The Motor Fans Club cross bars went on easily and without issue.Last weekend we loaded the car and the roof rack for a family camping trip. It was great to have the extra storage space created by the cross bars. We drove several hundred kilometers with our load on a combination of roads ranging from highway to gravel.I am very pleased with this product and would happily purchase them again.

I purchased these crossbars as a cheaper alternative to the brand names. I was skeptical at first, mainly because I didn't know what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the product. If you don't want to break the bank and aren't going to use the cross bars everyday, this is a good purchase.

Fits perfectly well on my 15 Sante Fe with panoramic sunroof. Read all of the instructions first! One of the last paragraphs, after all the installation steps tells you that one is longer than the other and it goes on the front. Makes complete sense but I didn't realize this until after I gently forced them to fit the other way. Swapped them around and they went on with ease. Works great so far for carrying a kayak, would definitely recommend.

Mounted with no trouble. I haven’t used them yet, but they seem like they will work just fine.
