I use this as a vanity stool in my bathroom and it looks great. My only complaint is that it’s “top heavy” and seems a little unstable. Takes some getting used to, to make sure I don’t tip over. My old stool was very stable. But overall I really like the look.

I don't normally like to buy new furniture when I can buy used. I find the quality is often poor. However, this stool is so good! Charming details, excellent packaging and thoughtfulness (it comes with felt pads for the feet), and sturdy. So happy I bought another.
