WOW I have no words Loved Caden and Murphy to the moon and back
OMG where do I start and how do I keep from giving spoilers. Okay let's give this a try. UGH OMG I seriously loved this read. A Spectator being hit by a home run ball changes so many lives. Especially Caden's. My impression is Caden and Murphy are both relationship shy. He with his three strike rule and her with her no dating rule. I don't even know where to start. I know Murphy's ex is a POS and deserves everything he gets. When you read the book you know about Caden's three strike rule. Never goes out more then three times with one woman. He doesn't trust that someone isn't out for a piece of him instead of him as a person. But there is something about Murphy and instead of dating they agree on being friends. When he starts wanting to include her when he goes out with a lady I actually didn't like that at all. Yeah he wanted her close but it just didn't seem fair to Murphy. Any who I guess that was his way of being with her and not calling it a date. Because of his three strike rule. Still not right. There are soooooo many choke moments in this read I just can't say anything because I don't want to ruin it for any readers. I will say this the JumboTron sure got a work out. The first instance just about killed me. I was literally choking back ugly cries. The other sentimental moment was when all the women at the game were sporting shirts "Murphy Strong" OMG yeah you'll cry. And this is all you're getting from me. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

Will you know when you meet the one?
Caden cringes when he finds out his latest home run ball hit a fan. He stopped by the hospital to check on the guy, Murphy, only to find out she's going to need surgery. And her boyfriend is cheating on her. So he stops by again to check on her. And...she's funny, and friendly, and doesn't trade on his fame or try and spend his money. Everything he's looked for in a woman, but never found. He doesn't date but....maybe they can be friends? Men and women can be just friends, right? Even if she's the prettiest, nicest person he's ever met.

Perfect Game
This story was so sweet! I loved how Caden and Murphy came together! Murphy being a model, gets smashed in the face by his home run ball. Caden goes to visit the injured person to find a beautiful woman. He came across as a genuine, good guy and she was a strong, independent lead. The story line was great also, loved that it was a slow build up for these two.

“Slugger” catches love
Wow - just loved this book! Read it in one day.I’m not a sports fan but I got swept up in this book. What a unique and clever start to the book for Murphy to get hit in the face by Caden’s home run ball. (Yeah, OUCH)The theme of “fate” runs throughout this beautifully written book. Ah, the wisdom of so many of the male characters in this book, both alive and passed on. Soooo good. You will fall in love with Caden and “Murphy Brown”. (Yeah, I am of that generation that watched all the episodes)

Amazing!
I thought this book was awesome and checked all my boxes but one. The only reason it’s not getting five stars is because I craved a little more Karma. Otherwise it’s a beautiful story with all the laughs, tears, screams, love, and steam. Had to finish it in one day! All she has to do is write in one sentence or two to show the two baddies getting theirs (it was big enough for something hefty) and I’ll gladly make this a five star review.

excellent story
I love it had a great friendship turn into a great love. It takes place in New York City and also Okoboji, Iowa. I live 20 minutes from Okoboji. Aside from that, it’s a great story that made me laugh and cry and those are my favorites😍

catching caden
This book was super cute, sweet almost.Only thing I didn’t particularly like is referring women as “sl-uts” just because they liked to sleep around, feel like that word is so outdated especially when the second half of this book is dedicated to women empowerment.Good book, looking forward to Bradys book!

A great sequel to the Stone Bros... couldn’t put it down
If, like me, you loved the Stone Brothers saga then this book perfectly follows on from Stone Vows where we first met baseball star Caden and his sister Lexi. Only took me 7 hrs to read this cover to cover. So this is Caden’s story. He’s a superstar baseball player with an plethora of young female fans vying for his attention but he’s not interested in anything long term. His 3 strike rule sees to that. Baseball is his life, his love and career and he doesn’t need any distractions. Until that fateful day that causes a beautiful young model to come crashing into his life.Murphy has just scored her first modelling contract when she is accidentally hit in the face by a stray fly ball. With substantial injuries, she ends up needing facial surgery; ending her career before it even begins. Without any real friends in the city and a total lack of interest from her cheating, lying deadbeat boyfriend, she’s alone and dealing with life changing injuries.Feeling more than a little guilty for causing her pain and suffering, Caden befriends the stunning young beauty. They instantly have a rapport and find that they enjoy each other’s company, becoming firm friends... maybe because for the first time in a long time, Caden is faced with a woman that isn’t starstruck or throwing herself at him; in fact, she knows nothing about him. She is like a breath of fresh air for him. Her lack of knowledge around the sport that has been his life for years becomes his challenge... to teach her.The more they get to know each other the more their relationship builds. They are best friends, which is all they initially promised each other but when neither can stand the thought of the other one dating they soon realise that they have always been destined to be more and that maybe fate brought them together. As with all good romance stories however there is a huge curveball on its way that looks set to destroy their run of luck. With their relationship hanging in the balance, will love be enough to bring them back together. This story is a slow build... and it does take a while for anything romantic to happen but it’s quite a change to see two characters build gradually as opposed to the usual ‘wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am’ type beginning that some books of this genre go with.Caden is sweet, gentle and caring... which makes him incessantly adorable and you are genuinely willing these two to get it on... and when they finally do, it’s sensual and passionate.Really enjoyed the first book is The Perfect Game series and it’s great to have the running characters from the Mitchell sisters and Stone brothers series to keep the familiarity. Fantastic read... couldn’t put it down.

The Beginning of our forever.....
The Begging of Our Forever…. When Samantha decided to tease us with little snippets of this book… I tried really hard not to read them however I did and I was hooked. I couldn’t wait to read the rest. O my days….. What a book!Murphy moved to New York City after losing her best friend Kelly, in the hopes of becoming a model… Her dream come true… She finally lands the perfect job and is dragged to a baseball game by her boyfriend Tony and a roommate. What better place to celebrate your modelling career? Little did she know that her world was about to change, drastically….Caden is up to bat… Will he get a home run? Crack…. Hell yes!!! But rounding second base, fear strikes as there is silence beyond left field where he always hits his home runs. Why are they gathering? Did his ball hit a kid?Murphy feels only pain. What happened? She wakes up in hospital where her worst fears are met. She needs surgery. Her career is ruined. Why did this happen to her? What will she do now with having scars on her face? She didn’t want to go in the first place but there is no going back and no one to blame. #FreakAccidents happen!Caden finds out that his ball injured someone bad enough to land them up in hospital. He make his way there expecting to see an old man because with the name “Murphey” what else could he think? He couldn’t have anticipated what and who he saw instead. Long sculptured tanned legs… this has to be a mistake. She is beautiful. Stitches, bruises and all.Murphy is expecting to see Tony when she wakes however it’s not Tony that is there, it’s a strange man. Who is he? She has no idea that this man is the man who hit the home run. Why would she know who he is? She doesn’t watch baseball.Caden introduces himself and is stunned to realise that she has no idea who he is. It’s… refreshing? Caden has been burnt in the past and he trusts no woman but for some reason he is drawn to her. Will she become his reason for trusting and loving? Will he become her reason for what she needs most? This story had me hooked from the beginning. I actually learnt a lot about baseball myself so thanks for that Samantha. ;)I laughed uncontrollably and I am not ashamed to admit that I came very close to almost wetting myself. I must say it’s no fun chocking on coffee several times. After the first time that happened, you would think I learnt from my mistakes? Note to self… “No drinking while reading Samantha Christy’s books” I couldn’t get enough of the witty nicknames, the passion, the dramatics and above all the binding love. Their love was meant to be.Samantha… what do I say that I haven’t already said in my other reviews? My words fail me yet again. Your books are amazing. I LOVE that you have a duel P.O.V. You write with so much hope, love, dedication and humour. I am never bored and I know I will never be left hanging. I wish I had half of your talent. You are truly gifted! P.S: Can't wait to read Brady and Sawyer stories and when love kicks their asses 😁
