This is the second of these cases we've bought. The first was for a full size iPad and the second was for a mini. They both have lasted a long time and one of them has been going for years and multiple kids. They are sturdy and easy to carry. The foam is really thick and protective. Probably overkill but you never know what kids will do to things. We don't have problems charging or connecting headphones. The only problem the sleep button is difficult to reach. Overall I'd definitely recommend this for iPad protection from the abuse kids can dish out

It's great for little kids who might have trouble carrying an iPad safely.The rubber is thick, tough, and springy and with the 150 iPad minis we have for first graders in the cases, we haven't had any damage.It's even difficult to cut and so far only the charging port cover seems to get some flex wear (which can make it possible to tear the charging cover off).I have found three downsides:The charging port cover is annoying and doesn't serve much purpose, and it puts a bit of strain on the charging cable when it's in. I've been cutting it off. The quilted back cases don't have the cover, but the product images seem to show all case types not having the cover.The headphone jack can be difficult to reach and with right-angle or wide connectors, may prevent a good connection (or one at all). I've also been cutting the case to have more space in that area.The 'stand' feature doesn't always work as well as advertised. Many of the cases can't fold the handle back far enough to be stable and tip towards the screen. This seems to get better as the cases are used, though.The downsides are relatively minor and I'd still recommend the cases highly.

This is my 2nd time ordering these cases (I have two iPads and therefore ordered two) my first ones were the blue and purple versions and lasted well over a year. These iPads are used by my 2 & 3 year old (almost 3 & 4) and have been thrown, kicked, walked on, dropped from strollers, shopping carts, and car seats. I have never had them come off of the iPad and my iPads have never been broken. My kids are TOUGH on the iPads and they are still in mint condition.With that said, my kids were fighting over the blue one and I was over it. They were beginning to get dirty and dingy anyways so I just ordered two identical green ones. I ordered the textured backed ones, but the regular back ones showed up to my door. Not a big deal to me, and definitely not worth sending back for a simple thing of that nature, but I'm writing it because it happened. It doesn't bother me that much, but it might to someone else. Other than that, they are the same quality as the ones I previously purchased and fit snugly into my iPad mini's so overall, it's a great investment to me.

Bought this for our little one as we were expecting our second child and wanted her to be able to watch a PBS video or something for a few minutes if we had to tend to our baby (and not worry about her shattering the screen). Very durable and will surely keep her from damaging the iPad. One minor bummer is difficulty of pressing the power/screen off button at the top — the volume buttons and silent switch have a nice cut-out in the case, but for some reason there isn't one for the top button, and it is very difficult to press (a kid definitely could not press it on their own). I suppose this could be by design, though I don't see why one would not want their child to be able to turn the screen off (and they can turn it on with the home button).Handle/stand is the best feature! Can't recommend that enough so you can set it on a table like a laptop or monitor.

So, I've only had this product for 1 day, I don't know if its going to live up to its description and protect the iPad from a toddler lol but I will say its extremely hard to get the iPad in the case so I'm thinking that's a good thing. It stands on its own so they can watch it in an upright position but I dont completely trust it won't fall forward it doesn't seem all that sturdy..I wish they wouldve made the handle harder and more sturdy. we used to have the tech21 kids case and the handle that you pulled out so it would sit up was hard plastic and that iPad was not going anywhere if you had it set upright it was a 50 dollar case though... So, with the cost of this case id say its pretty cool and quality.

Very lightweight, does NOT add a lot of weight to the iPad as many cushioned cases do. Love that it has a handle for carrying, my little guy needs that when he's got other valuables (stuffed animals and such) to carry also :) Great that the handle doubles as a stand so you could set it up and watch a video or something.Only drawback is that there is no screen protection. Would suggest also picking up a screen protector to go with this, to help prevent scratches. This case is perfect for carrying and for minor accidental drops but would NOT protect against any kind of direct impact, especially to the screen.Easy to plug in, the charging port is accessible. A little hard to press the power button through the case if you have little-kid-sized fingers but not a problem for adults or bigger kids.UPDATE - over a year later and still in great shape. No cracks, damage, or issues, and the case is holding up to all of the abuse my six year old doles out.

Got my 4 year old son one of these for his iPad mini. Got a screen protector as well. No joke, he dropped it from our second story directly on to hardwood floor. No damage and still works 3 years later. When I got an iPad mini for myself I thought about getting a more “adult” looking case, but I always loved how his had the built in stand. And how protected it was. I got the black one for myself. It’s perfect for me. The stand is perfect. It sits at a perfect angle. I felt some of the other available trifold cases were too far leaned back. This sits upright. I don’t know if people think it’s not cool enough for an adult to have, but it’s perfect for me. I don’t want any different case. Get a glass screen protector and this case and it’s perfectly protected, portable, and usable. Highly recommend for children and adults.

Great product, light and sturdy. I feel much better knowing that my toddler may drop his mini iPad and it is protected.

4 stars, only because I wish they fit a little snugger, and as others have said, they stand at nearly 90 degrees, which is too high...That may "break in" after a while For the price though, they're great. Colours are nice, and they look like they'll protect if they hit the floor. Have a purple and a blue, both are nice and bright. Material is very similar to that of crocs...quite soft and spongy. These are rated "thumbs up" by my 8yr old girls.

This case is an excellent product. We purchased it for our four year old to go with his iPad mini and it does a perfect job protecting it. Our son loves using the handle to carry it around the house and uses the stand to watch movies. This product was exactly what we were looking for and the price was very reasonable. I thought it might look cheap, but it doesn't at all.
