The water in my home has always been a problem for me, although I do believe its perfectly safe to drink it makes scummy tea which I hate. So I had taken to purchase bottled water for tea and coffee making and all was fine, until my wife started complaining of a fishy smell from our kitchen tap. After lots of investigations with drains etc we decided it had to be coming from our mains water supply, so I purchased these drinking water test strips as a bit of a stab in the dark at testing the water. I’ve always been a bit sceptical about testing by unqualified people (ie. me) but I had nothing to loose. The Amazon rating for these test sticks is better than most so I bought them. My first test showed lots of anomalies from what I had expected them to be, so I did 3 tests of my tap water which registered a pH level off the scale, and I compared the results to the bottled water I had been purchasing, which showed no problems whatsoever. I can definitely say that I have a problem with my water supply, but think that its perfectly safe to drink. So I purchased a three stage filter and now it tests really good, and no scummy tea to boot. I have to say, this little kit is so simple and straight forward to use. At first I wondered why I would ever need 125 of them, but having already used 11 of them I guess I’ll be testing my drinking water often now.

They seem to do the job. My gripe is that the key on the side of the container is not the same scale as the the strip, so when holding it up to the key (to see what is what) they don't line up - and one has to move the strip up and down, sometimes counting squares, to see what colour block is referring to what test. It's clumsy and could lead to incorrect reading. Easy also for them to fix.

These testing strips worked sooo good for my child’s science fair project !!. We did a water filtration system and It was very accurate !. Very inexpensive and easy to use !!

Wanted to test my tap water vs my filter jug water and now I'm doubting myself with the results, either the strips aren't credible, my filter jug is an expensive commodity or I have some of the best tap water in the UK 🤔. Either way, the strips are easy to use... Just collect a clean glass of tap water, immerse the stick for 2 seconds. Don't remove/shake excess water and colour match whilst holding the stick from the bottom of the results bottle. Like others have mentioned, you get a bit lost half way down as the results chart is a bit off compared to the reading strip so you have to count the squares fast to make sure you're reading the correct results. You get plenty of strips to go at and can be read after 15/30 seconds

I mean it's a simple water test, it does what it's supposed to. It is a bit expensive but so where literally all the other ones so I presume it's an industry standard price. It's not difficult to use as its basically as easy as doing a litmus paper test, except instead of telling you the pH, it tells you about any contaminants like lead n such. Either way, it satisfied my paranoia regarding lead pipes in the apartment so hey- 5 stars from me

Great pool test strips - work great and good price!

I like the full set of parameters that it measures. I take pH readings with a separate test and they align with this one so that's a good sign that the it's fairly accurate. I use this for hydroponics to test my water quality without having to go through an expensive lab test.

Liked the simple to read directions and the compact packaging of these test strips. Works great for our above ground pool and hot tub for daily checks on the chlorine and other levels. Easy to measure the levels with the color readings on the back of the package and know the state of your water levels.
