Firstly, please ignore some of the negative reviews on here. If you follow the simple instructions, you will not run into any problems! I have just bought one of these for each of the kids. Set up was simple, quick and I had soon transferred playlists onto each device. I easily managed my three separate players, each with different playlists, from the app. The Mighty3 is perfect if you do not want to be tied to your phone and is great for listening when out running (it’s so tiny, light and clips onto clothing easily), when you do not want any distractions when doing homework or when you just want to spend time away from your screen. I am already thinking of getting another one for myself.

It's disappointing that this is the only player on the market for Spotify. I tried it for 24hrs and it failed at every step. From losing connection to continuously needing charging. I managed to sync a playlist with just 15 songs; it took 10 minutes to complete. The one I tried with 100 songs just never, ever completed. It would get to 20% and just.. stop syncing. Only option is to refresh and watch it fail, over and over again. The thing is made/managed by a third party - of which you have to make yet another account. The enclosed guides and the online blurb, depending on what you're looking at, are out of date and incorrect. I have no confidence in the future of this accessory and even less in the app software. It apparently struggled with Android 14 and is worse with Android 15. I cannot recommend this player. A nice bit of kit, let down terribly by the software.

It’s quite expensive but can get my child away from the screen while listening to music in the go. I think it’s worth it. I also like the cute design and very light material. Quality seems to be good, no complaints so far.

Had this little player for almost 3 years and I have to say it’s been brilliant. Didn’t have any problems at all, the original app worked seamlessly. Used it for my running and it was great, happy days. However, the problems started around 7 months ago when the app was “updated”. The newer app is terrible, constantly disconnecting and taking an age to sync playlists unlike. The final straw was when I was informed that from April 2027 the mighty will no longer be compatible with Spotify, only Amazon Music. Do not buy this if you want to use it with Spotify!! What started as a brilliant bit of kit has been ruined with the latest app and not being compatible with Spotify. Such a shame.

The app is pretty bad, constantly losing connection with the mini itself and headphones(yes I have disconnected them from my phone). Syncing takes way too long. Very often on runs the connection between the player and headphones is really bad with the sound cutting in and out and sometimes it just stops altogether. I've tried with 3 pairs of headphones and same issues. Feels like this could be a great product but the user experience for me has been terrible and I wouldn't recommend on that basis.

Excellent concept, well executed. Hearing different things through left and right ears can be harmful to children’s developing auditory pathways so I would like to see the option for parents to make this play “mono” rather than “stereo”.

I'd seen quite a few negative reviews for this product but thought I would give it a go because: a) it seems to be the only product on the market that allows you to play Spotify songs offline without a phone and b) I was hoping the negative reviews were the minority of people who have an issue with theirs. Most negative reviews seem to be around setup, which I found very simple using the Mighty app on iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 16. Haven't taken it on a run yet but I've charged, synced and played my first songs through it - so far very good!

I really love this device. I have been looking to reduce my reliance on screens, and wanted something simple to play my Spotify and podcasts on. I like that the battery lasts a good while, and then recharges super quickly (fully in about an hour). It looks really cute, and it's so light you can clip it easily to clothes (or your work lanyard as I often do!). Initially I found the controls confusing, but it's just a matter of getting used to something physical rather than yet another screen. I had a small problem with the headphone jack and customer services were really outstanding. It seems to be a small business with real humans to help you out if you have any issues. I bought another one for my son as I want him to have access to music on the go, but I don't want to give him a smartphone. He loves it! If you are looking for something simple that can stop you staring at screens and going into some instagram hole when you just wanted to play your songs, this is a great option.

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi il n'existe pas plus de lecteur de ce genre ! Pouvoir avoir le plaisir d'écouter mes playlists spotify sans avoir la distraction d'un écran ! Mon fils de 6 ans adore. Simplement syncroniser avec son téléphone et spotify ça m'a pris max 10 minutes ensuite telecharger les playlists et le tour est joué.

It's a brilliant device for our daughter who makes her own Spotify playlists. This has opened a new world for her and she loves it. Usability from her perspective is dead simple and air tight, without issue, as it's uncomplicated and simply does what it's intended to. However for the administrator, that is, the parent, it's quirky. As others have said the software on the phone and synch experience is glitchy and slow. Firmware updates never complete or synchs go on and on and it's unclear what's happened. Bluetooth headphone volume control doesn't work with expensive Sony noise cancelling, but works fine with wired headphones. If you're patient and indulge the fact that this isn't an apple device (remember the iPod nano? ) then you'll love it. If you struggle with technology and "yet another app" then maybe wait until they've got the bugs worked out. It's also expensive for what it is. Still it's a brilliant idea and fills a void in the market. And the nightly auto synch / playlist update feature is brilliant. Highly recommended if you have a kid who likes music.

The Mighty 3 is exactly what we wanted for our daughter to listen to music screen free. It was easy to download her playlists from Amazon music. The initial download does take a while so be patient. Otherwise it is a huge hit with our daughter. Now son wants one too.

My kiddo loves this alternative to screens! This allows her to make her own playlists and enjoy music without a phone/tablet/etc. It downloads playlists super quick and seems to have a tonn of storage!

I love this! My son loves listening to audio books and making music playlists, but I don’t want him to have a phone. We already have an audible and Amazon music subscription so he can make his playlists there and select audio books there and then we sync them to his mighty device, it takes like 15 minutes, no extra purchases necessary. He does have to re-sync it to my phone about every 2 weeks (I learned this is so musicians can get royalties). But that’s about how long it takes him to go through his audio books and look for new ones anyway. The one thing I wish is that we could sync Spotify and audible at the same time. You have to either sync audible or Spotify. Overall I love that it is a screen free option! Almost like the iPod shuffle. He doesn’t have to be connected to wifi either. When he syncs his content it downloads to the mighty. Love it! I’m going to get another one for my other son for his birthday!
