Best brand and White Lithium Grease for many purposes
Update 05/03/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Found another great use for this lithium grease.... Ceiling Fans. I have them in all rooms and bedrooms. As it gets so hot in the desert, they do need lubricating once every couple of years. Most of mine are either Hunter or Hampton Bay. Regardless, after years of operation, they can squeak or just get plain noisy. I never realized they could be lubricated until I researched them. I've had great success lubricating most, just a couple of squirts near the bearings, let it soak in a while and then turn on the fan. Squeaks gone. I've had one that isn't either of the main brands and that's developed a really grinding sound. Took quite a few squirts over a 24 hour period and finally, it's now silent. I've not had any issues since. Just one thing, make sure you shake the can well before use. I found a minute or two shake was enough. Also, make sure you can is upright when you squirt. I had one occasion that resulted in the can being upside down to be able to get into a roller bearing of a window and it just released air, not lube. If you have such a problem and need, be aware that Amazon DOES sell a long extended hose that is just about a universal fit for all spray cans and can be reused on a new/replacement can so it'll last a lifetime Update 04/22/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just purchased 2 more cans. This is wonderful stuff. I also have used it on my dual paned opening windows and patio door as the wheels on them were squeaking and they didn't slide freely. Couple of squirts top and bottom and from each side and the windows and doors all operate so smoothly, I can slide a window open with 1 finger (used to be two hands were needed previously). I stand by this stuff, it's really good for the garage door and sliding windows. Original Review ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've always trusted WD-40 and I had an old can of this white Lithium Grease Spray but needed new. I saw a replacement on Amazon with the same design as my old can but it was considerably more than this new. So after discovering they had released the same product with a "new look" I bought a new can. Purpose? To lubricate a Garage Door that was awfully noisy. I sprayed each and every hinge, each and every roller and the door screw itself. Oh my... what a difference!!!! Noise level went down considerably to a point now all I can hear is the "noisy" motor!!!! LOL... Never heard that before because the squeaks coming from the rollers and hinges were so loud. After much success, I decided to give this stuff a go on my front door which had a sticking lock. One squirt and a a couple of open/closes of the lock and that went from sticking to smooth as a baby's.... Next came a kitchen cabinet door which would not close fully. I realized the problem was the hinge was so sticky so another couple of squirts and that solved that problem. I sprayed the garage door some weeks ago and it's still super quiet. Just one point, shake well and don't hesitate on the squirt. You don't need loads but don't light finger the spray. Firmly press and what comes out is a spray that then leaves a white grease on the subject. I've also bought a second can which I keep in the garage. I used that one on my hedge trimmer. I used to use a light oil spray just to keep the blades smooth but found the white grease a much better lubricant that doesn't dry up in the heat like a light oil does.

Great for Heavy Outdoor Metal Gates
I used this WD 40 Specialist White Lithium Grease on a large, heavy metal gate outside, and it worked extremely well. The gate had been squeaking and was becoming harder to open and close smoothly. I sprayed the hinges and moving metal parts while opening and closing the gate to help the grease work its way into all the contact points. Afterward, I wiped up any excess that dripped, and the difference was immediate. The gate now opens and closes much more smoothly, and the annoying squeaking is gone. It seems to hold up well outdoors and provides a nice protective coating on the metal parts. The SMART STRAW makes it easy to target specific areas without wasting product. Pros: * Works great on heavy metal gates * Eliminated squeaks immediately * Easy to use SMART STRAW * Good value for the money * Seems durable and long-lasting outdoors Cons: * Can drip if you apply too much * White grease can be messy during application, so keep a rag handy Spray vs traditional tube grease? The spray is much easier to apply in tight spaces and hinges. It reaches areas that would be difficult to coat evenly with tube grease. How to apply without overspray mess? Use the SMART STRAW for precision, apply short bursts, and place a rag underneath the area. Wipe away any excess after application. White lithium vs silicone grease? I prefer the white lithium grease for heavy metal to metal applications like gates and hinges because it provides a thicker, longer-lasting lubricant. Silicone grease is better for rubber, plastic, and lighter-duty applications. Best for garage doors or general use? It works great for garage door hinges, outdoor gates, metal hinges, latches, and other metal-to-metal moving parts. I had excellent results using it on a heavy outdoor gate.

Great for indoors, no smell
used on every squeaky door in my house, and Iโm honestly impressed with how well it worked. It took just a few seconds for each hinge, and the squeaking disappeared immediately. Itโs been a while now, and I still havenโt heard a single peep from any of the doors. I also appreciated that the colorless spray didnโt leave behind any stains or residue. It didnโt drip or create a messy overspray, so cleanup wasnโt an issue. Another bonus was that there wasnโt a strong odor, which made it much more pleasant to use indoors.

Versatile and Reliable: WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease
As a household name in the world of lubricants, WD-40 has come to epitomize the perfect lubricant in the mind of many consumers. Among the different lubricants offered by WD-40, the WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is one of the most versatile and efficient. In this review, we will take a closer look at this product and why it is worth considering for your lubrication needs. At the core of the WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is its white lithium grease formula, which is designed to provide long-lasting lubrication and protection for metal surfaces. This grease formula is specifically formulated to withstand extreme temperatures, pressures, and even harsh chemicals, making it an excellent choice for use in automotive and industrial settings. Unlike some other lubricants, this spray is white in color, making it easy to see where it has been applied. One of the standout features of this product is the SMART STRAW SPRAYS 2 WAYS, which allows for both precision and wide-angle spraying. The straw can be flipped up for a more focused, targeted spray, or flipped down for a wider spray pattern. This feature can save time and effort when applying the grease, as it allows for easier access to hard-to-reach areas without having to use additional tools. Another benefit of the WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is that it is easy to use. The canister has an ergonomic design that is comfortable to hold and use, and the spray nozzle is easy to depress. Additionally, the straw is flexible, which can help users to apply the grease in awkward angles and tight spaces without having to move the canister around too much. In terms of performance, the WD-40 delivers on its promises. The white lithium grease formula provides excellent lubrication that is resistant to wear and tear, which can help to extend the lifespan of the metal surfaces it is applied to. The spray is also resistant to water and moisture, which can prevent rust and corrosion from forming. This makes it an ideal choice for lubricating door hinges, locks, window tracks, and garage doors. The versatility of the WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is another key selling point. It can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including metal, plastic, rubber, and wood, which can save users from having to purchase multiple lubricants for different materials. This also makes it a cost-effective option for those who need a lubricant that can be used in a variety of applications. One of the few potential downsides to the WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is its smell. Some users have reported that it has a strong odor that can be unpleasant, especially when used in confined spaces. However, this is a minor issue and can be mitigated by using the spray in well-ventilated areas. Overall, WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is an excellent lubricant that delivers on its promises. It is versatile, easy to use, and provides long-lasting protection for metal surfaces. The SMART STRAw feature is particularly useful, as it allows for precision spraying in hard-to-reach areas. While the smell may be an issue for some, this is a minor concern in light of the product's overall performance. If you are in need of a reliable lubricant that can be used in a variety of applications, the WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease Spray is definitely worth considering.

Quieted My Squeaky Garage Door in Minutes
I used WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease on my garage door, which had started making some really loud squeaks. It was easy to apply exactly where I needed it thanks to the permanently attached Smart Straw. I like that I could quickly switch between a wider spray and the precision straw without worrying about losing a separate attachment. After applying it to the rollers, hinges, and other moving parts, the squeaks disappeared and my garage door operated much more quietly. The only minor issue I had was that the spray button was a little difficult for me to press with one hand. My hand strength isn't what it used to be, so I found it took a bit more effort than expected. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind if you have limited hand strength. Overall, this worked exactly as I hoped. It was easy to apply, stayed where I sprayed it, and quickly solved my noisy garage door.

Perfect for garage door spring, roller and hinge lubrication
I have two insulated 10ft garage doors that are both insulated. The double garage door has a double spring due to the heaver insulated door and it's a double stall. The second door is a single spring, single stall. The springs and hinges started getting noisy and you will hear the springs pop as the coils bind when opening and closing the door. One 10 oz can of this WD-40 lithium grease spray did wonders. Come to find out, I should have been lubricating the spring 1 to 2 times a year. I won't make this mistake again. After spraying the top of the spring liberally on all along the top of the spring and then spraying all the bearing rollers and hinges, I opened and closed the doors a couple of times. The difference was dramatic in how much more quiet the doors were. I could actually hear the opener motor doing it's job the doors were so quite. I also sprayed some of the grease on the opener track at the front of the door when it was closed to give the track some lubricant while opening and closing. After all the hinges were done I went back and sprayed a liberal layer of the grease on the bottom of the springs. It really works it's way in well with no dripping from the springs. For the state my springs were in, it's shocking how much more smooth and quite opening and closing the doors are. Plus, I'm convinced this will make the springs last much longer. By the time I was done with the springs and hinges, I still had a small amount of grease left in the can. To have someone come out and do this would probably cost $200 - $350. Do it yourself for eight bucks as of the time I left this review. I was so happy with the result, I came right in the house and wrote up the review. I wish I would have made a before and after video to demonstrate the audio difference.

Very well at a decent price
Doesn't really take much of a review to quantify the WD-40 product. While I don't use them across the board for everything, I have gravitated towards their white lithium spray grease over the years because of the value for performance versus cost, which is always good especially if you can get these on their occasional deal. I have multiple buildings and about a dozen garage doors that I keep lubricated with WD-40 white lithium grease spray. It works excellent on the hinges and creeps well into the rollers and bearings. But where I really blow through this stuff is on the eight car lifts. I spray liberal amounts of this on the post tracks at least twice a year and it's certainly quiets them down and stays with the tracks quite well. Basically I buy this by the case twice a year and I have yet to find a cheaper product that works as well.

Great Lubricant That Actually Lasts
This white lithium grease has worked extremely well for everything from squeaky hinges to outdoor equipment and moving parts. It sprays on evenly, stays where you put it, and provides long-lasting lubrication without constantly needing to be reapplied. The SMART STRAW design is one of my favorite features because it makes it easy to switch between wide coverage and precise application. It helps reduce mess and allows you to reach tight spaces with ease. Iโve also noticed that it holds up well in different weather conditions and helps protect metal parts from rust and wear. For the price, you get a high-quality product that does exactly what it promises. This has become a staple in our garage, and I would definitely recommend keeping a can on hand.
