Watkins Pistachio Extract 2 ounces

This extract has real pistachio extract in it with some additional natural flavors. It tastes like the pistachio I always loved in ice cream. The other extracts offered on Amazon don't have any pistachio extract in them, but only natural flavors combined to roughly imitate pistachio. The only extract I've found so far with a Google search that has only pure pistachio flavor costs $47.68 for two ounces before tax. This cost $10.15 after tax! Unfortunately, Amazon says it's unavailable and they don't know whether or when it will become available again. : (

I love all things pistachio but I didn't know that I could find an affordable extract and make them myself! I've made a pistachio cake and pistachio ice cream (both keto) with this extract and loved them. This extract doesn't have a chemical taste, just nice pistachio flavor. That's especially important when the only other ice cream ingredients are whipping cream and erythritol (and actual pistachios, of course).

Great product ! Has a great scent, and a nice taste. Better than the one chive or two sold in the grocery store. Would buy again.

Had this turn up at a neighbor's but I'm assuming that was a postal error. I didn't get it in time for a clients special order but ended up buying the same one from somewhere else before my neighbor brought it over. When I reached out to the seller I was quite neglected although it probably wasnt their fault. Could work on service. As for the product itself, it's great! As a cake decorator I dont get many orders for pistachio flavored things but I love the flavor so much I try to find reasons to use it. (Works great in a chantilly frosting). It definitely has a strong flavor so there is no need to poor a ton into your mixture. Same goes for baking items with it. Flavor doesnt bake out.

Got this to make a pistachio cardamom cake with pistachio buttercream. REALLY tastes like pistachio, really tastes distinct from the almond extract I had on hand as a second option. It’s worth getting.

I liked it a lot. I use it to flavor my milk, especially when I want a change from cinnamon flavor or coffee flavor. I used to love and eat red velvet-flavored cakes, but I'm too old for that now--I gain weight too easily--so I dream about it when I sip the milk.

Product is fine, the Prime price is a bit high. I could have gotten this at a mega store for half the price.

I have bought this extract from my local grocery store fore years but I can't find it locally anymore. I love the flavor. I use it to make homemade pistachio ice cream. This is the exact brand that I have always used but it is pricier than it was in my grocery store but still worth the price.
