Gas Fireplace programmable Thermostat/Timer Remote/Receiver & Control Temperature or Humidity

My gas fireplace had a newer set-up without the TH/TP being labeled so I needed guidance. Customer service was awesome and sent details and pictures to help with my install. The unit only synced in Compatible Mode so it was frustrating to deal with that part. I can now operate my new fireplace from my phone and set up times for it turn on while monitoring the temperature. I’m super excited about regulating the fireplace temperature without the guesswork or the extra legwork of walking into the room to turn it on. Now I can walk into a warm room! My fireplace salesman that forgot to order the $570 Bluetooth module through the manufacturer left me in a lurch that actually really benefited me.

I installed this for a customer. I was not able to find any warranty info on Thermomart.com. It does work but we were not able to figure out how to change the set temp to Fahrenheit. Overall my client says it's warm and comfy. He just uses Celsius as a reference number. I myself am NOT impressed with modern tech on any pos phone. It always has a glitch when you need it most. I did install an emergency manual on switch for this guy, so he has heat when something happens. Simple heat is always better. Rec. skytech remotes.

This unit is the best. The app is basic but reliable, the process to use it is a little tricky but it's worth the time invested to get it to work. I use the app and unit all the time and it's a lifesaver in my rented apartment!

I was a little skeptical of this thing. It's fairly inexpensive compared to other solutions I have seen. Build quality is not amazing, but it also just gets screwed into the wall and probably never touched, so that's not much of a concern. Ease of setup was great. I had a little time during my lunch break and figured I would start it, and if I didn't finish during lunch, I'd get to it after work. 10 minutes later it was set up and configured to work through Alexa. Seems to work very well. I'd definitely recommend this so far.

I can’t tell you how cool it is to say “hey google, turn on the fireplace” and it does it! All my friends were impressed, and it wasn’t too hard to install either

Very easy set up. Set up through the Ewe Link easy and then set up to Alexa through the Ewe Link app easy. I was pleasantly surprised it worked with Alexa. The qr barcode to scan included doesn't work. Less than 15 minute installation total.

Enable Alexa skillNo more hunting for our one remote for the fireplace. The setup was very easy. I started by setting up the app and the unit on the kitchen counter. Once connected to the app I moved to install it in the fireplace.Tips:The app is a bit odd during setup. During the setup if nothing seems to happen, click on "next". The app setup is a bit clunky but easy. Make sure you are using the 2.4 Ghz wi-fi band. My installed unit is only about 10 feet away from the Router. While installing it was about 20 feet away. If you have connectivity issues you may need to use an extender.Pros:Easy to setup up (mostly)Easy to wire ( the only difficulty is the cramped quarters)Very quick response from both Alexa and the app.Every phone becomes a remote.Minor cons:App setup is not as smooth as it could be (language and prompts)App is not a smooth as it could be. The temperature sensor updates every ~5 minutes or so rather than every minute or 1/2 minute. For me, that's too big a temperature change to effectively control my gas fireplace. By the time the eWeLink app shuts off the fireplace the room has over-heated. Also, when using Auto mode to turn the fireplace on/off, you cannot manually (or use Alexa to) turn on/off the fireplace using the eWeLink app as the app's on/off button is locked in Auto mode and loses its functionality (bug in the latest software version 3.5.0 - it didn't do this in earlier versions).

Product easy to install and worked well for almost 3 months, then it died unexpectedly. Perhaps this particular item is defective, I'll try to replace it. I'm willing to give it the benefit of doubt, as while it was working it did so very well.
