SALOMONMen's Alphacross 5 Gore-tex Running Shoe

Absolutely best shoes I have owned. I am in my third pair, the only shoes I wear. Hold up for about a year in terms of sole wear after using everyday with at least 5000 steps a day. Brilliant quality, waterproof, comfy, warm not too hot perfect for everyday use, trail use etc.

Purchased these trainers firstly for them being waterproof when hiking in the hills, but also wanted a pair of running/hiking shoes that look like trainers not hiking shoes, these are very comfortable straight out of the box and well made, I will be ordering a second pair in a different colour, I did follow online reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up and they fit perfect.

I've bought these mainly for the gym, they are very comfy and look great, much better than the fake Solomons I got of ebay. You pay for what you get, just wait for them to go below 100 pounds as I'm not going to pay more than that! They are lightweight too, with aggressive grips which are bright blue, now to see how long they last.

Nice shoes, but I had to return them as the fit is too narrow making them uncomfortable to wear.

As always a well build shoe. May be a little more expensive than other brands but super value. At least 12 pairs of Salomans purchased over time.

This is my second pair of Salom shoes and I found them because I have medium width feet bording on narrow if that makes sense. First pair was mid-height hiking boot and fits me great. So I have the Alpha a try instead of buying a new running shoe in to walk. Running shoes don't do well in water.These might fit better then my first pair. No heel slip at all. Walked dog 1.5 miles on sidewalk and they were perfect comfort wise. Not quite as light as a running shoe but close for a walker.This will be my shoe on my European vacation this fall. An all day walker that is ready for rain. This appears to me a perfect shoe for a 4 hour hike as well.If I had a wide foot, I would seek a wide version of these or look at something else.

I had the same salomon shoes for 10 years prior to this purchase. They were such high quality i just had to go for the same brand again.Those shoes are just marvelous on the eye, extremly comfortable. I am beyond happy with this purchase. Defenitly recommending them.

Qualität und Tragekomfort einfach unschlagbar.Der Schuh erfüllt seinen Zweck - bequem, leicht und wasserdicht!!!!Besonders toll finde ich, dass man den Schuh anziehen kann, ohne Hilfe. Dh die Öffnung bzw. die Lasche ist so stabil, und groß genug, dass man einfach in den Schuh hineinschlüpfen kann. Ohne die Schuhe danach enger schnürren zu müssen.EINFACH TOP!!!! Salomon immer wieder gerne - der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt.
