I would recommend this because it is easy to use, not too expensive and fun.
I got this plane to take advantage of the small lakes and ponds in the area with my 12 year old boy. I was concerned that it may be too complicated for him to fly, but should not have been. The controls are easy to use and the flying experience was easy to control He did not have any trouble getting the hang of doing some nice big laps and even landing. The battery gives you a decent amount of flight time and the remote has a pretty good range. It does require a big space to fly, so be mindful of the trees that are around and give it plenty of room to soar.It has survived a few pretty rough landings, mostly mine not the kids, and has stayed pretty intact. We have been able to effect few small repairs easily using tape on the foam body.I would recommend this because it is easy to use, not too expensive and fun. It is a fun plane for someone with a bit of experience while still being a good starter plane.

Very Easy
Everyone should have one of these, the ease of flying, thanks to the stabilization thats onboard. Highly recomend picking one up, young or old timer, you will have a blast, unfortunately, mine turned into styrofoam mush, dont know why, but she combusted, I would love to speak with the manuf. I hope someone will get in touch with me, like i said, great little amphib.

Not worth the money
Bought this for my husband and it is literally styrofoam! Maybe I should have read the details more but went by pic. Not worth the money

Don't forget it has a switch on the body of the boat -- it's easy to overlook.
Nifty little novelty. I have a whole lot of RC stuff that is a heck of lot more expensive, and also a lot more complex, but this thing packs a surprisingly huge bunch of fun into a simple little toy. Recommend whether you are a novice or an expert.

Fast shipping
Fast shipping. I received this Rc airplane and its petty cool. I test flew it in my back yard taking off fromthe water in my swimming pool and from the concrete pool deck. Everything worked great. I have a big backyard but I do need a bigger area to fly it more. It is fast and responds good. So far happy with my purchase.

Tons of Fun
I live on a river and got this toy to play with off of my boat dock. It is a TON of fun.The toy is made of lightweight Styrofoam and has rollers for land and floats for water. The remote controller does feel very cheap and basic, but it works beautifully. The boat/plane is a TON of fun to play with, albeit is a bit hard to control until you get used to it.

Surprisingly easy to fly
For $70 you get a pretty unique little rc boat/plane. I was surprised how easily this takes off from the water. It take a bit of practice to land it SOFTLY in water or on land, but my 10 year old grandson mastered it in less than 15 minutes. You get two batteries and each will give you about 10 minutes of fly or water time. It must have some sort of stabilizing chip, because although it wobbles and sometimes looks like it's out of control and may crash any second, it seem to know that and corrects itself often. The learning curve for this is part of the fun. Even from the very start, it was controllable and RELATIVELY easy to fly compared to some of the little rc planes in this price range. In fact, this one is so much fun down on the pond that I find we are burning through those two 10 minutes batteries too fast. I need to purchase some more of those batteries and keep 4 or 5 charged and ready to go. They take 45 minutes to charge. That's a lot of down time if you don't have extra batteries.Bottom line for this one, it's incredibly easy to fly. Easily takes off from the water and lands in the water. It may take you some time to successfully land smooth, as a large float plane would. You have to get used to feathering the speed control JUST so as you approach the water. The first couple times you'll end up just diving into the water, or "skipping" across it till it settles down and drops onto the surface. THAT is part of the fun, trying to master this. The good news is that unlike some small rc planes I have, this one is very forgiving. It's so easy to fly that I'm giving this five stars. I would recommend this one.

Mine Wouldn't Steer - QC Issues
I bought this based off the stellar reviews it has received - not just on Amazon, but other online vendors too, but my personal experience with it is 180° opposite of popular opinion.I live on a farm and have a lot of unobstructed airspace to fly in. This unit is easy to launch and has plenty of power - but be careful because it loves to climb and has a hair trigger throttle. The problem with the unit I received was its inability to turn. In reviews, I see it operating in air spaces that are miniscule compared to mine, but with no ability to turn, the point is moot. Its hardware appeared to function properly when it was on the ground, but just not in the air where it became a big problem - for three days I was having to trudge a couple hundred feet across a field to retrieve it; that was not the experience I paid for.I have to guess this is just another mass-produced product from Shenzhen PRC, where quality control is non existent; you pay your money, you take your chances.

Absoluter Suchtfaktor!
The media could not be loaded.
