Bottari 16341 Steering Wheel Cover Road, diameter: 35–37 CM Black/Grey

This is a stitched, artificial leather (Vinyl/PVC) steering wheel cover, apparently Italian as all the writing on the packaging is in Italian. Mine was delivered quickly, and was only the usual struggle to fit: they always are because they have to grip tight. It did not leave any smell in the car at all, as some do. Overall it looks good but if you look at the picture you will see a welded/ moulded join at the bottom of the wheel...in real life it looks bigger and frankly uglier. I would have given this item 5 stars but every time I get in the car my eye is drawn to the ugly welt on the bottom of the steering wheel. I would have expected better from an item priced at the upper end of the not-real-leather bracket. In hindsight I think you can do better for the same money.

Item arrived and had a bit of a smell but thankfully this didn't linger in the car. It looked and felt great when it arrived and I appreciated the packaging to keep its shape. The binding (which I put at the bottom) is not straight and not a great look, although once fitted it isn't really noticeable.I have a Hyundai i30 2012, which has a smaller steering wheel and found it difficult to find a cover to fit, until I found this one. It was very difficult to fit! In hindsight, maybe warming the leather first would help it to be more pliable.I slotted it on at the top of the steering wheel and pushed it on, at either side. Once it got to the bottom, it took 10+ minutes, a lot of fiddling and physical strength to get it on. I wasn't sure if it would fit. I almost had to turn it inside out at the bottom to even get it close to the steering wheel. However, now it is on, it looks great and I'm happy with it. The stitching looks more white than grey but that suits my interior alot better.I would recommend if you have a smaller than average steering wheel.
