Review: Precursor to MASH. - Possibly attractive as the film which laid out the ground rules and production values for the much better known MASH, this is an unnaccountably poorly distributed - in Region 2 - comic fantasy of much humour which also gives a rare opportunity to see Bud Cort, then a rising star but who suffered a two-year career break due to an almost fatal traffic accident. So this film is fascinating because of it's MASH connection, but also because it's very entertaining in it's own right.
