Really researched the product before hand as instructions for use a little unclear. Used sage green for a man’s heavy real wool beige cardigan. I really needed 2 bottles to get the darker colour. Despite weighing the garment and using the recommended 1 bottle, it was a lighter shade but I was happy with that. A fixing solution is also needed - easy to buy in the same range. No smell & would use the product again.

This will straight up dye your clothes blue, buy a different dye.
Obviously, I bought this expecting a green dye, and it turned out greyish blue. Not even a hint of yellow in it. I have experience with dying clothes and I understand that darker green colours have more blue pigment, but I dyed a WHITE bedsheet and it just isn't green.

Good product. I had to dye an Orange Flotation Vest and was hoping for a nice green but ended up with chestnut brown. I resulted in a one of a kind vest that meets all of the Maine requirements for a Maine Guide. The appearance is better than I hoped for and along with the Fixative (see other review) it is still going strong 2 years later of daily summer use.

My photo doesn't do it justice, but I have had this Athleta dress for many years, but it had seen better days. It was so faded from washing. I hated to toss it out based on it being faded - it's such a cute dress! I figured I would try dying it and see if it improves it's look. I just did it in a bucket of hot water and a little dish soap. Soaked it for about 45 minutes. Washed with warm water in machine with an old Towel and it dried a beautiful, vibrant color. Can't wait to wear it again!
