Effective, well-insulated coolbag and especially easy to clean inside
At 19x19x14cm this is a little larger than the average lunch-sized coolbag and has a functional and attractive design with a grey striped outer and yellow webbing handles. It's well made, securely stitched, well insulated and, most unusually, has a clear plastic interior which partially lifts out for washing. This makes the coolbag especially easy to clean keeping it hygienic in the event of leaks and can even be run under a tap to flush away crumbs while, due to the sealed seams, no food remnants or liquids can become trapped in crevices - unlike most other soft-fabric coolbags I've used. This lining is also waterproof. The insulation is effective. We haven't had sweltering hot sunny days in which to test it but cold drinks and sandwiches left in a roasting hot 30°C car for nearly 2 hours, with two icepacks in the bag, remained cold. In more normal and representative use this coolbag will keep items cool from leaving home in the morning to lunchtime in the office or on a day outing. As a food handler vigilant about food handling and safety, I would always advise using one or two slim freezeboards for best performance and to ensure meat remains cold at 2-4°C rather than simply 'cool' plus, for even better performance, I always chill the actual coolbag in the fridge before filling it.I would happily order this again and recommend it.

Took 7 pints water not 8 to fill. Due to generous insulation so it's a positive finding.
The media could not be loaded. This is slightly smaller than the advertising stated of 8 pints as it took just 7 to fill it.This I think is due to its generous padding inside which I certainly don't have a problem with as means this is going to keep things insulated longer. The bag is also waterproof as the video taken showing the 7 pints being added (motion capture) showed. Another plus. Finally it's good looking and easy to zip and unzip and fold flat and the handles are highly visible and robust. So it's a top scoring cool bag.

Good quality cool bag
This is a smart-looking lightweight cool bag with a clear plastic lining. It would be large enough for most people to fit their lunch in, though for two or more you might be struggling. I put a plastic freezer block in with the food to keep the contents nice and cool all day. Happy to recommend this product.

Food cool bag
Really attractive design with grey stripes and lime green trimming. Inside is double-lined with foil and a further insulating layer of thick plastic. It has a double-lip which means that as well as the outer zip, there is an inner seal that goes all the way around the bag from top to bottom to really seal in the temperature. It can keep cold food cold for 10+ hours in moderate weather - very good time! Not really used it for hot yet.Despite its compact size, it holds quite a lot.

Smart and Functional Cool Bag
This is a very good buy if you are looking for a cool bag for your packed lunch for work or on a long car or train journey. Its best feature is the thickness of the insulation meaning the promised 5 hours of protection from heat is actually achieved and ensuring against leaks. It weighs only 300 g empty and features two webbed handles which sit in the hand well and are strong enough for any load you are likely to put in it. In terms of what you can expect to put in it, you can get several sandwiches, a couple of chocolate/snack bars , two pieces of fruit and a medium sized bottle of water in quite easily and this is the kind of purpose for which it is intended-not a more extensive picnic. You could use it only for keeping drinks cool when you might get up to six bottles inside, but this does depend to some extent on their shape. The bag looks good with a smart two tone colour scheme and is easy to carry around as you travel. In short it does what it was designed for and does it well.

A bit small
I must admit I was a bit disappointed by the size of this and don't like the clear plastic cover which seems to cover it. That said if the size is okay it's easy to clean, not too heavy and it keeps things cool.

Smart but a weird design inside
This bag looks nice and smart from the outside but the interior is really odd. It has a clear thick plastic bag attached on the inside which doesn't quite fit properly and means that, like a reverse TARDIS, the inside is actually smaller than you would expect it to be! There are probably a ton of complex scientific reasons for this to improve the insulation but it's a bit useless when you can't actually fit your lunch in there! I defy anyone to get six cans of pop inside as the blurb claims you can! I have gone back a more traditional cool bag again as I find this design inadequate for food storage. Not great.

Perfect for one or two.
If you like a large lunch this is ideal but I found that this is plenty big enough for my husband and I to pack a good sized lunch each and a carton of drink. It holds a sandwich each, crisps, fruit and a couple of snack bars. I love the style and colour of the bag and the webbed handles. It is foil lined to keep the food cool provided you use a cool pack of course.
