This takes a little work to assemble, but the results seem worth it. I built this to use for weighting my travel trailer and cars (jack the vehicle up and put a wheel on the platform), so I welded a metal platform. I used a 12" x 24" x 5/16" steel plate and 2" x 2" x 1/8" angle iron around the edges. You can see in the pictures, the black painted platform is what I made. I also supplied the PVC tubes to retain the wires, the bolts and washers to hold down the load cells, the yellow tie wraps and the 5 conductor (20 gauge) wire cable that attaches the control box to the platform. Everything else is supplied in the kit. I calibrated it at 900 lbs stacking everything heavy I had on it (including myself), and it now reads a 500 lb. load accurate to within 1%. Pretty impressive. A couple notes that may not be obvious from the listing- There is a battery inside the control box that seems to last at least several hours. You can plug the readout box in occasionally to charge it, then weigh things that are not near an electrical outlet.- The Transducer (YZC-320C 2T) is rated at 2 metric tons (2000kg or 4410 lbs). So the combined capacity of all 4 transducers is 17,640 lbs. I wouldn't weigh anything nearly that heavy on this scale, but it gives you confidence that if the load is not centered and puts most of the weight on 1 corner, the scale is unlikely to be damaged.- 2 of the transducers had 2 meter leads and 2 had 3.5 meter leads. I elected to leave the wire lengths as is and did the elaborate wraparound underneath the platform to store the extra length.- The photo in the user manual of the wiring connection for the cable that attaches to the display is for the connector as you look at from the pin side, not from the back side where you solder on the wires. In other words, the figure is mirrored from how you need to attach the wires. You can turn the unit on and use a voltmeter to figure out the two power supply pins (there will be 5 VDC across the -V and +V sockets). The other 3 pins (2 outputs from the transducers and a shield wire) will have no voltage.

The scale is fairly lightweight and easy to move with the handle. The scale cord comes from the bottom and the hole has sharp edges. I had to put tape on the edges in order for the cord not to get cut.Scale works best with high quality batteries, not the ones that ones with it.

One page instruction sheet, protective film hard to get off. Attempted to check calibration following instructions and all the control screen did was flash on and off.
