This skin serum is definitely a splurge in my book, but I absolutely love it! It definitely has a very strong perfume smell- which I adore. However, some may think it is too much. It absorbs into my skin quickly and leaves it so moisturized. I also love how fancy the packaging is and the glass bottle with the vintage label. Just a very nice luxury item!

For being a facial serum, I thought it had a strong perfumey smell, something I really didn’t care for much. I prefer using this just at night because I really don’t care for the stronger scent. Aside from that, this really is a good quality serum. I have dry skin, so this serum, which has a slightly thicker consistency, absorbs quite well into my skin. It says it leaves a “healthy glow”. Not sure about a healthy glow but it does leave a bit of a sheen on my face but doesn’t look greasy. My skin feels very soft and supple after using.I wasn’t quite sure where this product was coming from. I assumed it was coming from France based on the pictures and description, but when I got the bottle it had a US address on it but also what I believed to be Chinese writing. Upon doing a little research of my own, I found that this product comes from Korea, which is not bad because Korea does have some great skin care products, but just don’t think you’re getting a high end facial serum from Paris. The packaging it comes in and the bottle are very pretty, and does look like it came from France. Looks nice on my bathroom counter.

I thought this product was too perfumey for me. My skin tends to not agree with harsh fragrance so I didn’t appreciate that. It does give a nice glow to the skin when applied and makes the skin feel soft and supple.

So, I love fragrant skincare items. This was right up my alley for a product that I would like. However, if you don't like strong scents or prefer your skincare to be on the lighter side of fragrance, or even fragrance-free, then this would NOT be for you. It has a strong scent that I love. It's so beautiful, perfume-like. The packaging and product scream quality and luxury in my opinion. The bottle is glass and the vintage labeling is just so perfect for this product. As far as the product it works nicely. It goes on smooth and absorbs into the skin quickly. There is no tacky or sticky feeling after applying. I am able to move on to my other skincare products right away and I do believe it helps in hydrating my skin and works well with the lotion I apply after this product. Love this product.

Even if this wasn't a terrific, super-hydrating facial serum, the packaging alone would have sold me on it. But it is a really great skincare product that you will want to keep handy. Use 2x daily for best results. Your glowing skin will thank you.

Challans de Paris' Ampoule d'aqua contains hyaluronic acid, suqualane, and other ingredients to help with dry skin.The packaging is beautiful, and the ampoule comes in a glass container. The ampoule is scented, but I didn't find it unappealing.The ampoule is really hydrating, and it didn't irritate my skin. It absorbs well, and has a thicker consistency, which layers pretty well. I really enjoyed how moisturizing the serum is, and I'm happy to include it in my skincare routine.

This is a luxurious skin serum, it applies super smoothly and absorbs completely. Leaves skin dewey and fresh.

This serum is beautifully presented in an ornate tube and glass bottle. It’s packed with hydrating ingredients, but added fragrance is also high up on the list. It feels sticky on my skin and leaves behind a sheen, perfect if you’re after the glass skin glow, but not if you want something more subtle that sinks in completely. It’s a nice luxury, but there are equally effective Korean serums available at a friendlier price point.
