This card holds its weight in gold. Do not sleep on this budget card.
Don’t let the YouTube pc builders steer you away from this beast. Cheap yet can run AAA titles all day with ease. Runs bf6 about 70-90fps according to my Razer cortex app, and runs escape from tarkov like a champ. I’m paired with a ryzen 7 5800xt on a b550 motherboard. Do not sleep on this budget card, it holds its weight in gold. Easy install like any GPU, only needs one PCIe power cord, and the RGB is good looking and not obnoxious!

Solid mid-range GPU for gaming
This RTX 3060 isn’t the absolute top-tier card, but it handles most games really well. I’ve been able to run everything I play at good settings without major issues, which is exactly what I needed. The 3X WINDFORCE fans keep it cool and quiet, and overall it feels like a quality build. For the price, it’s a great option if you want solid performance without spending a fortune on high-end cards. Video quality is good and was super easy to install.

HORRIBLE SHIPPING PROCESS
UPS were the people who shipped this via Amazon. I spent nearly $320 on this product and UPS was very incompetent and extremely stressful to work with. First off I had to download the proprietary UPS app to track my package, second off they skipped my house literally 3 times and then when they passed my house the 4th time, that's when they actually delivered it. Then they wanted a signature which my roommates were really not wanting to do since I was at work, but someone did sign for it and I just installed it in my computer. Please note that you do need a PSU that supports either a 6+2 pin or an 8-pin configuration, and if you have neither of those you need to upgrade your PSU. There are 8-pin adapters for this but they are very dangerous to use and are a serious housefire risk due to how the nature of the pins work by design. Now that the GPU is actually delivered and I'm looking at what it's doing performance wise, it's getting 97 FPS 1080p with the Uniengine Heaven benchmark. I bought this card as a replacement to my GTX 980 which was starting to fail. The second reason I bought this card was because I was tired of having 40 FPS while 1080P gaming. My goal is to get as close to 240FPS as possible and so far with this benchmark I'm doing, it's meeting my expectations. Please note that my settings for the Unigine Heaven benchmark 4.0 was Ultra Quality, 1920x1080 8xAA Fullscreen, Extreme Tessellation under a 2700x Ryzen 7 on Win 11. I'm aware that if I turned down Tessellation, my score would be higher. October 2024 Edit: GPU is still working after 4 months. GPU never really gets hot unless I put on a very intensive game. Most games get 140+ FPS with older titles HITTING that 240 FPS I bought the GPU for. Should've I gotten the 40xx series? I didn't bother cuz my PSU doesn't support 16-pin connectors that the 40xx lineup requires. Pros: -Almost always cool, never gets that hot -Is quiet even under load -140+ FPS usually... Had over 120+ FPS in the RE4 Remake and a solid 40-60 in the new Silent Hill 2 Remake -GREAT PRICE for the GPU you actually get Cons: -GPU still struggles with DX12, my 980 GTX struggled even worse with the API -2x 6-Pin (or 4+2) required, meaning you will need to have support for that out of the box on the PSU -Runs hot when playing something like Resident Evil 7, and you can feel the heat emanating from it when it does run hot -There are better GPUs to buy that perform better but this 3060 RTX is more for if you got a tight budget -UPS will overcomplicate the shipping process and you'll have to download thier software to track your package

No effort install in AMD Fedora 42/Plasma 6.5 Linux desktop.
I have heard lots of negative press about nvidia cards in linux systems. People say they are hard to install or will not work at all. Maybe it is a different Linux or bad install advice. My 10 year old AMD system was getting a bit slow for the apps I was running so rather than just buy a new system, I replaced the boot/home drive with an SSD. Made a huge difference in disk speed. Great. Next was the video card performance. I had an old nvidia 1050Ti (simple install and 10 minutes to download and install the nvidia/Cuda drivers) but wanted something faster to drive my 4K monitor. Unplugged the 1050 and installed the 3060. No changes needed. Ran a bunch of benchmarks and it was much faster. Video recording/editing and CAD work is most of what I do on this system and there is a noticeable improvement. Well I am happy with the upgrades and much better performance so will maybe keep this system another 10 years. No relation to nvidia but have been using their cards for 20 years.

Good enough for me.
I only play call of duty so that’s all I can reference here. Runs on all high settings. Running at 120 fps. Processor runs at 100% some of the time along with using 100% of the ram at times too. But for the money you it’s good enough for me!

The card works great, temperature under full load don't go above 72-75°C which is pretty respectable, if you are in creativity field the 12 gb vram certainly helps. Overall if you need a pretty solid graphics card with a lot of vram and it falls into your budget then go for it.

I am mostly using this GPU on a Dock using my Mini PCs Oculink Port. I have tested multiple games so far and good performance for the things I play mostly. In most games, I can get up to 165 FPS (capped to monitor refresh) at medium to high settings, and that is what I wanted. I was going to go with a lower end card at first, but I finally got comfortable with this one and it was also recommended to me. I think that was a great recommendation. For things like PUBG, GTA, Overwatch, VALORANT, Counter Strike and any card game, such as Hearthstone. This card gives me the performance I need. I mostly cap my FPS in most games to 165 FPS. Depending on the game, I would also limit it to 120fps, seeing as some games really don't need high FPS. On the games I have tested, most of them work just fine at medium to high settings, you can also squeeze some ultra settings out of this card, but you do have to be picky about which settings you choose in my titles. Value for money is brilliant overall, I think for something like this, the performance for this price range is something I would expect. In a lot of games, you can get the performance boost you really want. I am using a Mini PC from GMKTek, and this is 100% a much needed upgrade, because you could play some games on the iGPU of my mini PC, but we really needed to get that Oculink port working to really play games as you want. For my CPU at 1080p this card for a 6850H specifically is a good match with this GPU, and gives a much needed performance boost over the iGPU that my GMKTek PC has.
