MELTED! BEWARE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! There are now different models of JDC covers
I've been using JDC covers for many years, they have always been ok. I find that they seem to last a couple or three years before they deteriorate badly fading in sunlight (British sunlight which really isn't that hot!) and tearing, they have always been good with regard to hot exhaust pipes but their waterproofing capabilities used to wear out long before the covers themselves did so I was happy when I saw the notice that this one was 100% waterproof. I (wrongly) assumed that this cover would be the same as the many I've had before but with the added benefit of being fully waterproof so I didn't read the rest of the blurb on the front of the packaging (my fault). I'm disappointed to say that the new cover was a total waste of money, it has melted all over my stainless exhaust pipe potentially ruining it and rendering the cover useless and me unable to return it. Please make it clearer that this model is not heat resistant!

Fantastic cover for the price, but could do with some minor tweaks
Bough this after using numerous Oxford Aquatex covers (these just rot and have never seen waterproof).Positives:- Great value for money - Waterproof - Sturdy / great great elasticNegatives:Which way around ? - There's no real indication whish is the front / back of the cover other than a few tiny white wash / care labels. Would have been nice to have some logo at the front of the cover so it's easy to define.Sturdy - The elastic is a great help, but also makes it a bit of a faff getting it on / off the bike. There's a tendency for it to catch on exhaust guards etc.Size / Material - It's great at repelling water, but you'll fine the underside of your seat gets soaked / is full because its wet through / doesn't fold up as easy as other covers.

Large or Extra Large and How Long Does it Last?
I bought mine in October 2015 and it's just starting to fall apart now. The cover will eventually start to split and although you can mend it with duct tape - on the inside, please - you will end up with more duct tape than cover if you don't replace it. Still, two winters of outside parking is pretty good going for £25, as some far more expensive covers don't seem to last much longer than that. The cover is quite light, as it doesn't have a lining, but it is waterproof. I originally got an XL for my 1200 Bandit, but it was a bit on the large size, coming right down to the ground. This time I've ordered L and I think it should be perfect. Although it has twice the engine capacity, the Suzuki 1200 Bandit has more or less the same physical dimensions as the 600 version, so if you have one of those - or a Hornet or Fazer etc. - then you won't want XL. If I'm expecting stormy weather, I bungee around the bars and tie a strap around the middle of the bike to stop it from flapping about. Also, the front and rear wheels get the baby-bungee treatment. I only just started to do this, so I'm expecting the next cover to last a bit longer! Update: September 2019. I am buying a new one again - so about two years is it.

Great value bike cover
I didn't have e massively high expectations for the price.I bought the xl adventure bike cover for my tiger 800. As can be seen from the photo it fits like a glove. The bike has a standard triumph top box and givi side boxes. The cover has a clip and an elastic cuff at the bottom to hold it in place. The 2 lock holes are way to small for bike bike security but serv little purpose other than to advertise you lock of choice, better to keep it under wraps and out of the weather. The other notable omission is a lack of front back guide. As the cover is tailored it must be put on the correct way. I wish the manufacturer had put a logo on the front to make this job easier. Easily sorted with a coloured ribbon through the useless lock holes. If it lasts a season or 2 I will be happy and I cannot see it not seeing through at least 1.

Stays put on the bike and fine after 18 months, two winters & several storms...
"XL with topbox" is perfect size for my VStrom 650 with a windscreen and big topbox. It has survived 18 months so far including 2 winters in a seaside location and is still fine. Had to resew the strap in the middle that goes under the bike back on after storm Eunice and it's faded a bit with UV. It is a bit more of a performance to put the cover on because of the elasticated bottom but that's easily outweighed by the fact that it means that this cover stays put much better than a lot of others I see around that are billowing in the wind and ill fitting. The elastication means I can tuck the bottom edge under the sprocket and the brake disc at the back and it also comes down far enough to cover the front brake discs. I reckon this has at least another year's life in it, when it does give up the ghost I'll buy another one. Very good value compared to some of the other covers available...

Not for me. Its going back
Noone should expect a cover to fit their bike like a glove but at the very least if you buy one thats taller, longer and wider than their bike then all should be well. That was not my experience. I also take issue with the description "Thick breathable material" Whilst trying to get this over my bike my biggest fear was it would split. My bike BMW F7800GT with a Puig Touring Screen and Givi spoiler lives outside. It sits alongside a fence and is chained to a concrete fence post so its a bit tight to get to on one side. The main problem for me was the elasticated bottom. I havent measured it but it is no more than half the length of the cover and it is very tight elastic. On top of that despite its excessive width I found it fouling my mirrors as I tried to get it on. It flattened my windscreen spoiler despite being taller and as I tried to stretch the elastic bottom over the rear the cover disappeared between the top of my wheel and the frame. It dragged on the foot pegs as well hence my fear of a split. I persevered and after about 5 minutes of gently coaxing it onto my bike I ended up with a very poor fit at the front, a flattened screen spoiler and flappy bits above my mirrors as it wouldnt pull down low enough to take advantage of the width to accomodate my mirrors. It did actually get to ground level front and rear but as I said it was still a very poor fit. I have now gone back to my Motorrad cover. It may be too short in height and not quite long enough but remarkably it is a far better fit and takes less than 30 seconds to put on.
