Too hard of plastic to comfortably play with.
it sounds pathic, but we tried and everyone agreed it was too hard of plastic to play with comfortably. It lit up great in the dark, but we went back to a softer ball that didn't light up and that didn't hurt when you hit it.

Would not recommend
If you’re used to playing outdoor volleyball, this ball is made of hard rubber and hurts to hit. We played for two minutes with it and had to switch to a regular ball because it hurt our forearms too much.

Hey, this ball lights up.
Gave it as a present to a serious amateur volleyball player (league play, travel, etc). He loves it and hey, it lights up. What's not to like. Eat your heart out, Wilson.

A good, solid volleyball…with a decent light
Right off the bat, the thing that impressed me about this item was the feel of its materials: it felt like many other quality volleyballs I’ve played with, even before I inflated it. Once I inflated it, that feeling was reinforced: it was firm and, from the few test hits I and my family gave it, seemed like it would fit on a volleyball court right alongside any of the other quality volleyballs out there. We didn’t try any spikes with it, but I feel confident this ball would be able to handle those, too.The one potential drawback with this item rests with what is supposed to be its singular feature—its light-up function: it’s not as bright as I thought it would be! Now, it’s not dim—one can easily imagine playing with this, say, out on the beach in the evening. But if there is enough external light—in the form of streetlamps, court lights, etc.—then this ball’s light could get washed out by it. This is the only reason I somewhat reluctantly deducted one star. Other than that, I’d say that if you’re looking for a good new volleyball that also just happens to have a unique illuminating feature, this would be a good purchase.
