Need Extra Math Help
Essential, if you have difficulty understanding your professor or math in general. The book explains the theory in easy to understand terms, and gives a few step-by-step solutions that really explain the mechanics to certain problems. I used the book to first understand the procedure, then to follow as a guideline to other variations of problems. Math isn't difficult, you just have to be willing to accept the theorems and put in the time to practice. Good Luck.

Like the Textbook, not helpful.
(TLDR: See bullet points)This book complements the book perfectly. In the past, solution manuals had solutions with a reasonable amount of explanation and detail. This one, however, lacks details a problem solutions. It has solutions to only a few problems from each section which isn't helpful. I think the strategy with the concept of "only a few problems from each section" was something along the lines of "you know one, you know them all." I beg to differ. Differential Equations is a reasonably difficult class. If you're having a hard time with the homework you need someone (or something) that can help you understand it. Neither the textbook, nor the solutions manual are helpful nor descriptive. I recommend the following:- Avoid purchasing this item- Form a study group- Get help from your teacher/professor- Get a Chegg account- Find/Watch videos on the subject matter- Study a little bit everydayI hope some of you found this useful.

Thorough
If you prefer worked problems where . . . <every> . . . <last> . . . <step> . . . is explained, this might be the book for you. Some answers run for three, even four pages. The problems are odd-numbered, meaning they are the ones with answers in the main text.Number of problem sets in first 12 chapters = 94. Number of worked problems in current title = 262. So the average number of worked problems per set = 2.78. So . . . if you are coming into the book looking for help with a specific problem, your chance of finding it is poor. The deal breaker for this book for many will be the time factor. In order to mine it effectively, you need the necessary time available. Given that, it can provide valuable assistance.

Not what I thought it was going to be
I need a solutions manual for chapters 13 to the end. This is volume 1 for chapters 1-12, so buyer beware!! Also only covers a meager amount of the problems. The good news is they explain the answers in English. Full sentences, step by step

Not Enough to get you by
Many students use the reverse method of solving problems. They look on back of the book for the answer to their question and often can get an idea of how they are supposed to solve it. This book comes with a horrible solutions Manuel and the text itself is a little hard to understand. It is alright if you have a professor to explain it step by step but if your thinking about going about this yourself, I suggest you look somewhere else.

Full of typos, and not many solutions
This only has solutions for maybe 1 in 5 problems (all odd number, so you might as well solve it yourself and check with the back of the book).Even worse, in the first 5 minutes of using this I found two typos in the same problem. For example, cos is written as cot, and on the next line it is back to cos. This is not worth the paper it's printed on.

disappointing
I ordered this solutions manual hoping to be able to check my work on the even-numbered problems that do not have answers in the textbook. What this actually has is a limited number of solved problems- only a few for each section. If you really want to see a few problems worked in about the same level of detail as the examples in the main text, this book might be for you. Otherwise, it is not worth the money nor the effort of ordering.

Not the full solutions manual. Only has a small fraction of examples to 1 to 3 problems listed in each section of the chapter.
Didn't figure out that its the student study guide until I already opened it. Opps I should have know better.
