What and the heck is this!!?
I don’t know what “spirited away” is and the characters are pretty strange but it was an interesting build.A couple of the upper roof panels could be reinforced with a couple more bricks but it works.

Not for the faint of heart
Wow! This was so hard! I don’t normally do legos so for someone who is a Lego fanatic it would probably be easier. This piece took me dayssssss. I thought the green roof pieces were going to make me psychotic if they fell off one more time 😤.But in the end it’s a really gorgeous piece with so much detail that any movie watcher would fall in love with. Just push through to the end. Even the treasure chest on the third floor is full of gold! It’s so detailed I love it!

Nice build and a good tribute to the movie
Let us start at the beginning. This arrived well packaged. The print on the box is nice and makes this build look modular. This is a build with 1868 pieces, and it is not for a child to build nor is it modular. The set up: I appreciate that all the bags are numbered and placed into another numbered bag. This small detail is tremendously helpful when building any block style buildings. However, the bags themselves seem to be randomly packed. They are mixed with large and small pieces and that is not helpful when building block style buildings. The instruction book is clean and mostly concise, there were a few areas that needed a little more clarity but overall, it was good. Like I mentioned this is not modular (16x32, 32x32, 48x48 pegs). But I placed mine on a MILS plate anyway so I can add it to my city. The build: the brick grip (the holding force of the bricks) is in a state of disorder, but I give it a 6/10. The brick edge (just like it sounds the edge of all the bricks) I give that a 7/10. One downside is that almost every 2 x 2 and 2 x 4 plates have divots in the pegs. As the build progresses and you need to start adding floors to the base... this is where things get dicey. The lower floors are ok when you need to add them to the build. But once you get to the fourth, fifth, and roof that is when it gets a little frustrating. There are a lot of intricate details, and some floors have “double” walls. And those double walls are not linked together so they “spread apart.” See attached picture. When adding the fourth floor the third floor supporting walls do not align properly. Same with the fourth floor to the fifth floor. And placing the roof on the building. You really should just build the roof right on the fifth floor. The roof itself needs more supporting tiles to make it a bit more ridged.I ended up taking some of the floors apart just to be able to get the next floor to attach securely. And some of the floors are split in the middle with no support under them. So, they will move around after you put on the floor above it.The finished product is genuinely nice, a lot of details and it looks like it was taken right out of the movie “Spirited Away.” To my surprise, I was not missing any pieces with this build. So, there was no need to contact customer service.

Big, lots to do but problems, maybe use glue?
Mostly this was a good model to work on but there are badly designed sections; for example the bridge, I tore it apart and used the parts to strengthen other areas that were too shaky (like part of the roof). Attaching a newly finished floor to the lower floors was a tough job so be careful with that. I also gave up on the octopus like mechanic (machine?) on the lowest floor, made no sense to me and it fit badly. I used the parts to fashion a simpler looking scene.Overall it was fun to assemble. Maybe one should use glue to keep it together? I usually don’t but in this case it would help. I didn’t ask the seller for assistance; they offered a refund but I felt I spent time on this and did complete it so a refund was unnecessary.

Not bad! It's tall though!
I love Sprited Away 💙 I was genuinely surprised by the height of the finished piece!! Lol I still love that it's Sprited away but off brand. The size is compatible with lego so that's a plus but I was upset that they didn't give chihiro black hair. I felt like that was a possible thing to do and they didn't do that. But a quick fix with paint or a sharpie. The amount of detail that goes into the characters are cute but not extensive and the detail into the hot spring is great but not overwhelming or impressive. The roofing and sidings gave me the most trouble out of this piece. The connection and build instructions for them was not great. The pieces kept coming apart at the slightest movement. I had to add 2 lego pieces as reinforcement so the build wasn't so flimsy. ALL IN All- not bad but in my opinion not worth 70-80 bucks maybe 50-60. The build is impressive for its height and the hotspring but the characters and the roofing attachments really made it less enjoyable for me.

This Lego Building Makes A Fantastic Gift
This Japanese Lego building is amazing and at a reasonable price too. There are so many pieces in this set, so it is very detailed as it's being built. The blocks are very durable and strong, so this set will last for quite some time. My son was really excited when he got this set and has been having a lot of fun putting it together. Since there are so many pieces, it will take a few more weeks before he's finished putting it together. This set makes a great gift for the Lego fan in your life, from young kids up to adults.

Great set, but missing pieces - returned and got another one
The set is beautiful, very detailed and extensive, but some pieces are missing. As this was a gift, I am returning.Update: the seller reached out, I return my set and got another one, this time the set was complete. The seller was very understandable and we sort it out fairly easily. Very good experience.

Fun and intricate!
Some of the instructions were a bit confusing so you need to be quite careful, but it was really fun and is a very intricate build. A little bit of a challenge but not frustratingly so

Nice set, but too flimsy
Got this after watching the movie with my kids.It was fun to build the first floor, then the other floors were more stressful as is it very flimsy and shaky compared to other bricks and mini bricks I have built. I thought it was going to crumble when I put it on my shelf. It is listed at 95$, and I got a 30$ off coupon. So for 65$, I am fine with what I got, especially for 1800+ pieces set.

Missing Key Pieces to Finish the Model
I got this as a gift for my mom for Christmas and she was delighted initially when she had opened the box, but as she started assembling it she was finding herself more frustrated as she went on. The instructions on several occasions were hard to parse and she found that numerous pieces were missing, at least half a dozen. Being the kind mother she is she decided to try getting a separate Lego set to supplement the missing parts including Chihiro missing a hand and she only told me after I asked how she was enjoying it. Finally as she's gotten to around 90% done the whole thing she's found that she's missing more pieces, these ones being very particular and necessary for finishing the model. In the picture is the pieces she was needing to continue working on the model and it was calling for two of these pieces, but she only had one of each, and the Lego set she got to try and fill in the gaps of the missing pieces didn't have anything that would work. With all of this frustration I had decided to try contacting this seller to see if there was any way they could send us the missing pieces we need to finish it because despite the frustrations this is a beautiful kit. Sadly when trying to contact them I was only sent to the automated online helper which only offered returning the item and getting a refund as an offer. With the Lego set 90% done and just needing a few key pieces it feels ridiculous to only have a return/refund as the only option available for remedying this situation. I would love to give this a 4 or even 5 star review but with all of these complications and frustrations it has turned the gift my mom squee'd with delight about while opening to her sighing in frustration anytime I bring it up.

Not bad!
It looks incredible, some of the pieces are a bit finicky and don’t want to connect properly but overall not too bad. One piece was missing completely
