This was the first ever book that I ever read about magic. I remember finding it hidden behind my father's book shelves, back when I was about nine or ten years old. It was just the fuel that my young imagination needed. Of course it worked and horribly backfired on myself, too young to handle what I had got myself into. But the point is it worked! I thank God that the book that I found was this one and not the stupid and useless books on Wicca that you get today. Nearly all of these modern books are utterly useless, filled with feeble New Age fluff and with no real magical knowledge in them at all. The only people that enjoy this feel good crap are nearly always lacking in intelligence and imagination and so need to be told what to think and feel. This brainwashing is not real Witchcraft! Be warned this book is the real thing! This book was my only source of magical knowledge for many years, and as old as it is, it is still worth a million of the modern books on Wicca that you find in the New Age section at your local book shop. This book is packed full of usefuk, practical magic that works and is not about the modern neo-Christian religion of the same name. This is a book on REAL Witchcraft. This is book is not filled with any fluffy feel good New Age rubbish. This book is not for the idiots who follow the neo-Christian religion of Wicca. I learnt all of the basics of magic from this little tome. Looking at this work some 30 years later I realise that it is a rather nice and compact compilation of valuable and interesting magical lore and techniques primarily from medieval European sources. It is a collection of useful information from medieval grimoires, and rennaisance magical manuals. This is a very modestly priced volume which presents something of the true flavour of the traditional Magical Arts of the Middle Ages. All in all a pretty useful tome and well worth the price.

What A Lot of Rubbish. Poor Quality Book. Boring Descriptions, Boring Drawings. This Book is A Yawn and It's In The Bin. What A Waste of My Time and Money. This Book, after Reading 1 Page, soon realised, I Wouldn't Even Wipe My Bum On This Trash!

Reading those sections is like opening a Pandora's box of 'Oh wow, I didn't know that was possible, and I'm not sure I should.' It's thrilling, a bit scary, and totally what I signed up for when I got into the occult. This book is like the Swiss Army knife of the dark arts. It's got everything: spell casting, spirit banishing, herb brewing, and yes, even the occasional curse (for educational purposes only, of course). It's the kind of book that makes you think, "Should I be reading this?" and then you read it anyway because curiosity is a powerful spell. In conclusion, if you're dabbling in the dark arts, considering joining a coven, or want to be the most interesting person at the next dinner party, "The Complete Book of Black Magic and Witchcraft" is your go-to resource. It's hilariously enlightening, wonderfully weird, and guaranteed to add a bit of mystique to your bookshelf. Just remember to light a candle and maybe keep some salt handy.
