Powered USB Hub, AGEEN 16-Port USB 3.0 Hub (14 USB-A+2 USB-C), 5Gbps

I love the fact that it has 16 ports. purchased to upgrade from an anker "10-port" which is really a 7 port that has 3 dedicated charging ports.. I also like the fact that it has per-port power buttons/switches. Sadly, in just under 6 months, several (at least half) of the ports are beginning to be unresponsive. now my anker is back in service. to handle the 'overflow'. Yes, I'm a geek. 2 spindle drives. 3 pcie-sata SSDs; 2 usb to GBe NICS, and a couple smart-card readers. I loved it. -- until it started to fail. Contacting the Seller is a PITA. Contacted amazon via chat. they sent a link. The link allowed me to fill out a return request, but asked for more information.. clearly did not read my review, and asked for the same information in the review. -- no way to respond to them. ALSO. in the their response, they claim a TWELVE (12) month warranty, but in the product page they clearly advertise a TWENTY-FOUR (24) month warranty. not that it should matter as I'm well within 12 months -- just odd that in secondary communications AGEEN cuts their advertised warranty in half. -- Just in case they change it when this update hits, the original text states: Product description Ever be bothered from follow problems: Can not find a multiple ports USB 3.0 Hub in a single device? Replacement is working well. (but so did the original --- initially) As I began this review, I love this product.. I love 16 ports. and being able to clean up my desk a little. I LOVE the individual power switches. Sometimes weak/bad apples slip through. Thats life. no issue with that, but the initial response from CS was also disappointing. -- that was irksome. But THEN -- company management got involved, and a replacement was expedited. In Navy Lingo: BRAVO ZULU! Well Done!. Now the onus is on me. 1) 5 Stars 2) glowing review. I really DO love the product and 3) I need to reach back to the company because AMAZON just dropped off ANOTHER replacement (I only needed/asked for one). Hopefully the seller will let me know how he would like me to handle the 2nd replacement (still in the unopened AMZ mailer) as well as whether he would like the failed unit back for engineering diagnosis or not. Again, this is an EXCELLENT product. I Love it. Further, this company STANDS BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS, AND GOES THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE IT'S CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY. Despite the initial CS speed bump, CS has been 150% totally and completely OUTSTANDING! (would've been 200%, but hey, there _was_ a speed bump :) ...) Recommendation: If you are looking for a high capacity USB 3.0 hub, BUY THIS ONE!

Great gadget works very well

Considering that my computer is under my standing desk, it’s very convenient for connecting all the devices I have in my setup, not to mention those that I don’t always have set up permanently on my desk. We’re talking wireless headset base, audio interface, mass storage device, desklight, keyboard and mouse. I have more than enough slots for my needs and since I have it connected to my computer’s ISB 3.2 port, bandwidth hasn’t been an issue. Individual power buttons for each port is great, although I do wish the switches were for providing a power boost and not totally turning off the port when not on. Another minor gripe is that I wish the hub came with rubber feet. Luckily I already had some feet on hand to install, otherwise, it would have slid easily on my desk. Both things mentioned above are minor, but as this hub is not “perfect”, I’m giving it 4 stars with the caveat that it’s really more like 4.5 in my book. I would definitely buy another one for my daughter’s setup if she needed it.

So I bought this one to replace an older one on my gaming pc that had gone bad. It seems to be a good quality.

Solid metal construction works amazing I use it for a flight sim that has a bunch of usb cables I need to operate and being able to select which usb has power is perfect. I also run my quest 3 through it to link to my pc with no issues.

Worked well initially, but after about a year the connections became intermittent, and now many of the ports no longer recognize the devices connected at all. I have tried a variety of devices and most of them no longer work. Power is delivered, but the data is no longer reliable for many of the ports. The product advertises a 2 year warranty, so we'll see if the seller makes good on that.

Perfect hub — plenty of extra USB ports and enough power to run my camera, mic, capture card, and other gear. Compact enough to take on the road

I chose this hub because it has everything I need: • 16 ports, including USB 3, USB C, and charging ports, quick charging ports; • labels (oddly, the other brands with the same design and features tend to not have labels); • on/off switch for each port (press once for on and hold for off); powered by powered adapter; and • small size. Hopefully, it functions for a long time.

Sturdy metal case, ports are individually switchable on/off by small pushbuttons. I wanted the switching feature so that all the ports didn't have to be live at the time. The various ports dedicated to charging duties are also a very handy feature.

Provides lots of power for devices, ample number of ports. Form factor does eat a fair amount of desk space.

Had it for a bit now and no problems. It’s firmly Velcro Ed (IAs replacement for attaching with Velcro or educational sessiins) to the desktop so not much movement.
