Poor reproductions and not worth it. Do not buy it. I threw it away.

Zen Art Box
The Zen Art Box is one of those combination products -- you can read and learn or "do" and learn -- and it provides the opportunity to understand the art of Zen as well as to try your hand at creating Zen art either for the practice of Zen as a religious exercise or just for the fun of it. I purchased this book because Stephen Addiss was involved in the creation of the product. Addiss is an educator and has translated many books of Haiku. I added it to my personal collection.

Visually Appealing Introduction to Zen Art
The Zen Art Box is a visually appealing, self-contained mini-gallery of sorts. Famous, traditional paintings by a variety of monks and Zen artists are faithfully reproduced on glossy cards, which contain full details on the back. The set is ideal for art teachers, painters, and fans of gorgeous coffee table literature. While it's not the most scholarly of "texts," it's a visual feast for those curious about, or already in love with, the minimalism and simplicity of Zen artwork. It includes a card display stand.
