Seems well made

The set was purchased to use on British bike restorations. For a home shop use this is a great set for the price. I've been able to rescue many nuts and bolts during the restoration process. Easily creates new threads to re-use old bolts and nuts damaged by the years.

Good value for the rice

Great quality. Product came from Great Britain and was still quick shipping! Very pleased.

Upon the first use of this tool set I twisted both 1/4-20 taps and broke the handle within the first home I was trying to clean out on my Land Rover. Clearly not even worth wasting money on...

Repairing threads on a 65 Norton Atlas.

In tools I suppose you get what you pay for. However, a couple of quality issues need attention. The tap wrench and die holder are quite poorly manufactured and not really adequate for the larger thread sizes. There is not enough lead (in fact none) on the taps and therefore, makes it difficult to start threads. It would be good if the necessary drill sizes for the tapped threads could be displayed in the pack.

I only actually needed one tap & die for a special project, but at this price it was worth buying the set. for the next project . . .

Arrived well packed and does the job very good for the price

Profiles look good on both taps and dies, although I didn't measure them. I've only used them for cleaning up threaded fasteners for an old Drummond lathe.
