## Questions & Answers

**Q: how do they compare to the xm5?**
A: I have rhe XM5’s.  Sound wise, the Bathys are like a Cadillac while the XM5’s are more like a Chevy.  Noise canceling is a different matter as the XM5’s are in a while different class and thus have superior noise canceling.  Being around a hundred grams lighter, the xm5’s are more comfortable for longer listening sessions (i.e. I can wear the Bathys for a couple of hours without discomfort) but their resultant build quality is inferior to the Bathys.  If you have a large head, the Bathys headband may not extend the ear cups enoigh to be comfortable.

C’est mon premier casque Hi-fi d’une telle qualité… j’ai jeté mon dévolu sur ce casque car la réputation de Focal n’est plus à démontrer. Ce modèle en particulier car je ne voulais pas rester fixe sur mon Pc avec un DAC, ampli ect… Ce casque à tout intégré en lui, je le charge directement sur l’iPhone ou l’iPad avec le usb c vers usb c et c’est parti pour un régal auditif. Je suis un amoureux de la musique et vraiment j’écoute de tout ! Rap, Rock, Classique, Country, Alternative… Il est efficace dans tous les genres c’est impressionnant ! Je précise que je désactive évidemment tout le superflu (Eq, Effets) afin d’avoir le son brut et c’est parfait ainsi, bravo Focal ! Je ne pourrai plus revenir en arrière après un tel casque…
