First one didn't work however replacement did
I love Braun products and have quite a few Braun gadgets, however this time I was let down. I got it all prepared and ready to use on a soup and as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on it made a terrible noise. It sounded like something inside the unit was sticking. Anyway it didn't feel safe at all. Such a shame but I think it was just a one-off as I have used Braun before and never had a problem. Just one of those things really. I simply returned it back to Amazon and they sent me a replacement which works perfectly well.

Braun quality.
I have used Braun blenders for years and always found them useful in a small professional kitchen. I have tried other cheaper and not so cheap ones but none perform or last as well.I was a bit surprised that these came with continental 2 pin plugs, which I had to change and also that didn't come with a hanging bracket as previous ones had.

Why a 2 pin plug?
Does the job, easy to use. It came with a 2 pin plug - we had to go and buy an adapted plug before we could use it. No where does it tell you this - surely this should be highlighted. I have read never had any other electrical appliance supplied with this type of plug. Had I known I would have bought a different model /make.
