Maybelline SuperStay 24 2-Step Liquid Lipstick Makeup, Timeless Rose, 2 COUNT

How in the world is this product so highly reviewed? Without even eating or drinking it breaks up into flakey little fragments. Sticks great to my teeth, but wears off my lips within an hour of application even WITHOUT any eating or drinking. Worse, the wearing off is very uneven, leaving awful splotchy coloration on the lips. I wanted to like this and was really looking forward to it - the coral color is great. But "Super Stay 24 hours"? What a joke. Super stay 24 minutes maybe. I attached a photo of how a napkin looks after wiping my lips with this stuff on. I even used a timer to make sure I was letting it dry for 2 full minutes, but no bueno. Very drying to boot, even with the top coat.Back to balm stains for me. I'm sorry I wasted money on the two-pack, but glad I didn't pay retail prices for it.

I've been using this lipstick for some time and was devastated when I moved and could not find it. However, I was delighted to see that Amazon carries it. I hope Maybelline does not follow other cosmetic companies' actions by discontinuing this product after a short while. I put it on in the morning and go all day without having to reapply.

I have used this for years. Stays on and is non drying as many of the "permanent" lipcolors are. It comes with a clear lipbalm to put over it. The clear is shiny but like a slick chapped lip balm. I have used that, but I actually prefer using another product as a top coat that has a shimmer and is stickier and stays longer (Rimmel). Love this Superstay lipcolor. I put in on at 6 am and stays on until afternoon with no reappying. Thats thru breakfast and lunch. Darker color wear off a little quicker like deep red. Medium colors like plum, rose, raisin stay almost all day. Has a sponge like applicator and takes very little. Drug store price is $10 and up. This is a good product and I have used it for over 10 years.

This lipstick is long lasting and pretty. I have tried many different kinds of long lasting lip colors. This one is my favorite because it comes with a clear gloss to put over it to keep your lips feeling soft and the color shinesI often line my lips with a medium natural color and then use a brighter lighter color over the center of both lips, then blend. This way I can compliment my lip color with what i’m wearing. So I have this SuperStay in several shades.

There was nothing that I liked about this order at all. I never order this color! I always order 005!!!! You sent me the wrong color! I would never order this shade for me! I ordered two of them so I would have a back up And now to boot... I can't even return them! These aren't cheep, but this is the lipstick I order every time 005! How can you make me a happy camper again from this mess???!!! And now a star rating is required... I don't feel this order is star worthy!

I love these all day lipsticks. You must apply it correctly or you won't like it. Here is what I do and it works. Don't put it on thickly. Wipe the applicator excess back into the container and apply what is left on the applicator. Wait about 5 minutes or so until you can feel that the lipstick is dry and then apply the clear gloss. I love the colors and it lasts all day.

I love this color, but it doesn’t stay on ANYWHERE NEAR close to 24 hours. The moisturizing lip balm part is definitely necessary as the lip gloss color side leaves your lips feeling dry and gross looking. But it doesn’t seem to do anything to seal the color in all day. If I really cared about having all day color I’d have to reapply multiple times. But I don’ care that much, and I like the color for my skin tone.

I have worn Maybelline lipstick for 20 years.Apply the color wait until it dries then put on the moisture/gloss. Check your teeth and your done.IT STAYS ON ALL DAY!!! My friends call me “lipstick”. 😆. Do not waste your money on expensive brands.S
