Works just as good as name brand
If you are in the HVAC/R industry you know the name brands for these solenoid magnets. I have name brand and these magnets. They both work the same. Definitely get a set of you are in the market!

I needed this to diagnose my heat pump reversing valve by manually trying to reverse the system mode (with this tool) without the solenoid. Helped to isolate the valve (as opposed to the solenoid) as the problem. Other than that, it seems standard to other similar tools out there.

Useful tool
I've been happy with this solenoid magnet. I'm an electrician at a major food processing plant and we have thousands of valves. I used this right away and it works great! I had a steam valve that I couldn't tell if it was stuck or the coil was bad. I put this on and it opened up, removed the magnet and put the coil back on. The valve has been working since. I found this solenoid magnet to be an inexpensive tool that is extremely useful. It is a simple design that is well made with a strong magnet, I do recommend.

Simple but specific tool
Very simple piece, but only useful in very specific situations. I do hydraulic repair, so they are useful from time to time
