Perfect for that brown instead of orange color that a lot of self tanners cause. This product is definitely best for fair freckled skin people. From the time I put it on it looked natural. Some said it streaked, but I believe that’s due to the one applying it. Great product and I would buy again.

Yessss! Finally a self-tanner for us cool undertoned ladies! You can achieve as much or as little color change as you want here. Apply a thicker layer and leave on longer: darker color. Thinner layer and wash off sooner: you get the picture. It's the perfect color for my fair-light cool-toned (blue undertone, pink overtone) skin. It never goes orange, no matter how much I apply. It lasts 10-12 days. It can last 14 days if I apply the Bondi Sands gradual tanning illuminator the 8-10 days, which also gives the tan a nice sheen. I bought several bottles just in case they decide to discontinue (which seems to happen to quite a few of my holy grail items). If you have avoided tanning because you aren't yellow-orange, then try the technicolor line. If you are red, try the emerald version which will neutralize the redness and give you a deeper skin tone. I can finally show my limbs in the summer without fearing I will blind everyone (or tanning and giving myself skin cancer). Updated: To say that I don't recommend using the Bondi Sands Illuminator tanning lotion with the Technocolor self-tanner. It muddies the cool-tone and makes it lean too orange for me. I switched to the Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk (blue bottle) and this works much better. The technocolor stays true to tone but fades more slowly and without patches.

I have used every self tanner. I bought this because of the magenta tone which does seem to eliminate the dreaded orange. Application was fine.... it does dry very quickly so you need to move fast. I used a mitt to apply at night after exfoliating. The color is nice and brown, definitely not orange. I let it dry completely but it totally transferred on to my beige sheets. It doesn't smell bad when you apply, but the next day you definitely get the self tanner smell.

Sapphire is perfect for me! I have pale skin and easily visible blue vein color underneath. This has no orange color to it whatsoever! I don't notice a smell either. It goes on waaaaay darker then it appears after the shower. It's a beautiful shade that gives me just enough confidence without being a drastic color change that my coworkers comment on the next day after I put it on. I always apply it for at least 3+ hours before I wash off. Buying more!

On a mission to try all the self tanners until I find one that doesn't turn me orange and actually sticks to my stretch marks (so far the only fake tan that meets the criteria has been a professional airbrush tan). This review is for the Emerald version of this one, which is supposed to be a dark olive tan. Pros: - Streak-free! Absolutely by far the most consistent application I've gotten with any DIY tan, including other Bondi products. - Is one of the better ones as far as stretch marks go. Some self tanners do not stick to that skin at all and I end up looking like a tiger. Others look kinda muddy on the skin surrounding the stretch marks. This one doesn't make them the exact same color as my "normal" skin, but at least it does tan them a little. - the tan seems to be pretty buildable. In my picture, I did the first application left on for 4 hours and then did a second application the next day for 1 hour. In the picture - my arm already had a good base tan but my stomach was fully un-tanned with all previous self tanner removed. Neutral: - has the bad self tanner smell that every one has. Lingers for a solid 24 hours even despite showering. - the guide color does rub off on clothes but not as bad as some others. You still need to sit around on a towel pretty much naked or in very loose clothing that you don't mind getting stained. Cons: - the color Emerald is ...weird. I have a neutral-cool skintone and every self tanner, even the violet base ones, pulls orange AF on me, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try olive and see if the green undertone helped... it did not. On my fully natural pale skin, it actually looks like a nice olive tan and isn't super orange. However, on my skin that DOES have a real tan going (my arms and legs), it is probably the worst of them all as far as orange tone goes. I'm *certain* it would look better on someone with a true olive tone so I'm not going to give it super low stars. I think the color mismatch is my own fault. But this one is NOT for people with cool toned skin 😂

I've been using St. Tropez Express tan for years, but I recently tried this and it blew my mind. I'm extremely pale with ZERO yellow/warm undertones in my skin. I'm one of those people who burns after being in the sun for five minutes, and year-round I either look transparent-white or pale pink depending on how irritated my skin is (I have rosacea). I'm not one of those people who claims to have fair skin but actually wears a neutral or warm foundation shade. I'm genuinely EXTREMELY fair, like "the lightest shade of foundation still looks orange/yellow on me" fair -- so I know what I'm talking about when I say this tanner is actually pretty cool toned... more than anything I've tried yet, at least. Of course there's still some golden tones , but it's mainly a dark pinky beige when it fully develops. For girlies who actually have fair cool-toned or pink skin, you'll know how rare this is. It's almost impossible to find any complexion product that doesn't pull orange, but the first time I had this on after it fully developed I felt like it mimicked what I would look like if I could actually -theoretically- get a natural tan -- dark pinky beige with just a hint of warmth. I knew it was promising when it literally came out of the bottle looking INDIGO GREY. Real ones know the excitement of finding a true grey-toned product.... As far as performance goes, I personally think it's hard to fairly judge self tanners because a lot of it comes down to user error. Even people who have been tanning for years can do a lazy job exfoliating and their tan will turn out blotchy and come off in 5 days. That being said, there was a NOTICEABLE difference in how quickly and evenly this faded on me. The St. Tropez tanner used to come off SO bad in the creases of my elbows and knees after about a week, and I'd have these huge awkward white spots where you could clearly see where the tan had rubbed off. Well... not with this one!! Again, idk how much of that was down to my skin prep, but I'm on my second application of this product and I still haven't seen any rubbing off on those high-friction/sweat areas (I live in Texas, so YES this is thoroughly sweat tested). I can't guarantee that this product will work this well for everyone, but for the true fair/cool toned girls out there I think you have a way better chance of success with this than with other more "universal" self tan shades. Everyone has different preferences so this might STILL look a tiny bit too golden for your taste if you're as pale as I am, but this is definitely the least orange-toned self-tan product I've ever used. Never going back to St. Tropez lol. And this is cheaper too!

I’m violently Caucasian to the point of being almost translucent with cool undertones. I’ve tried so many self tanners over the years and usually end up orange. Even the violet based ones usually end up making me look orange or they just don’t work. I bought this on a whim and received it today and am absolutely blown away with the results. I was a bit thrown off by the bottle because it said to twist and I did and then the top came off and now there’s some tan juice on my bathroom floor BUT besides that, this tan is so so good. It goes on smooth, dries down almost immediately so make sure you work fast, isn’t sticky, and somehow blends seamlessly into the places you aren’t tanning so you don’t get those intense lines. I don’t love to tan my feet and hands so when I’m done with my body I use whatever’s left over on the mitt to lightly go over them and after waiting for 2ish hours and rinsing, everything blends. No streaks, no harsh lines, and the blue undertone matches my skin tone so well it looks exactly the way I look when I get a real tan. I saw some reviews that said it’s not very dark which is true but honestly I just want to glow.. not change my ethnicity via self tan. If you’re the color of printer paper naturally, a subtle glow is really all you need. Overall I’m extremely pleased with this product and will update on it’s longevity, how it holds up with working out and sweaty summer heat and if it layers okay. I’m hoping I’ll only need to use it once a week but I can’t form any opinions on that until some time has passed.

The color is beautiful and it sits very well on the skin (still looks even and covered after 7 days). I’m very light skinned and with this product I get a beautiful “vacation” tan.

Brilliant coverage , easy put on especially for beginners and Irish fair skin , not dark as it might suggest and hasn't a very orangey tan. Emerald is better and not uber dark. Washes off naturally and even after two hour development time makes it convenient.

Autobronzant de qualité ! J'ai la peau medium pâle des sous tons dorés , je bronze assez facilement (après un bon coup de soleil !) Le bleu a neutralisé ma peau , et j'obtiens le bronzage clair le plus naturel qu'il soit. Vraiment , c'est une belle découverte que je commanderais encore !

Absolutely love this tan. The glow is so natural, & does not make you feel/look like the adolescent days. (Does smell like regular tan) The way this tan fades is unreal. I have never experienced patchiness, which saves you from having to scrub. I do 1 coat, 3 pumps each limb segement. I apply early afternoon & leave it on until the night of, have a shower like normal. Stray away from using too much soap+scrubbing when removing.

I have very fair skin and never tan, just stay white, or burn if I’m not careful. I’ve used this 3 times over 10 days, I use a mitt. It’s a brown foam so it’s easy to see where you’ve applied it so you don’t miss any spots. But you have to work fast as it dries really quick! My tan is a subtle glow right now. I’m hoping with more applications the tan will get darker. But it looks natural and not orange at all. I haven’t used it in my face.
