It takes a bit of time to fully dry, so you’ll need to be careful right after applying it. If you touch it too soon or accidentally brush against it, it’s quite prone to smudging. Make sure to let it sit undisturbed for a little while so it can dry completely and stay in place.

I have been using this mascara for a very long time now, going through at least 15 tubes between Very Black and Intense Black, which pretty much says it all. The formula is incredibly comfortable to wear. No irritation, no allergic reaction, and the color payoff is consistently good. For everyday wear one or two light coats give a clean, defined look. If you try to build up too many layers, especially once the first coat has dried, you may get some clumping, but that is easy to avoid with a light hand. The brush is one of my favorite things about it. It is slim and flexible, which makes it easy to reach the inner corners and coat every lash evenly. The mascara feels lightweight on the lashes throughout the day, no heaviness or discomfort at all. One thing that really sets this apart for me is that it doesn't smudge or leave marks under the eyes throughout the day, which has always been my biggest issue with other mascaras. I am talking about the regular non-waterproof version, which I use most of the time. It washes off easily in the evening shower with regular facial cleanser, no special remover needed. I do occasionally pick up the waterproof version, but that one does require something stronger like an oil based micellar water to remove properly. It does seem to run out fairly quickly, but at this price point it is easy to replace without any guilt. For an affordable everyday mascara that delivers reliable results, this is hands down my top pick. I have tried others but always come back to this one.
