Fantastic game
Love this game, played for hours, love how competitive it made me, brilliant quality.Would highly recommend , it’s very easy to follow you don’t really need to know the original rules of chess, will definitely will be playing this at Christmas, the illustrated cards are striking.

How to play very unclear
A fan of chess and board games so thought this was a perfect buy.Sadly, How to play is very unclear and the YouTube video doesn't help much.The game has strategy-potential, however the game's core attacking/defending is so confusing, top that off with a plethora of action cards that really need some clarity on how to use them.I.e. "breakthrough"= opponent can't block. But is there even a clear understanding on how to block one in the first place, or when pieces are removed etc etc. Similar to other start up games, a very prescriptive breakdown (perhaps via video(s) (rather than 1 extremely lightly explained video)) would more than likely make a world of difference.

Great Game
I bought this as a gift for a chess fan, but have enjoyed it myself even though I can’t play the traditional game. It’s suspenseful and easy-to-follow - so far no two games have been the same. Highly recommend.

Not as easy to play as I thought it would be.
Well I got myself this game to play over Christmas and all I can say is I find playing normal Chess easier than this.I was hoping to find a YouTube video of someone playing this.I've read the instructions but still don't see how it plays. I'm sure it can't be that hard, but I just wish I could see something of an online demo. Disappointed
