Watched a YouTuber add this to their stew for "robust" flavor, and decided to try. Wow, they weren't kidding. Was the absolute best beef stew I have ever made, and I have made a lot.It must be used within 2 weeks, so instead, I squeezed into 4 small containers and froze for future use.Hope freezing won't hurt the quality.

I was disappointed that the first 1/2 to 3/4 of the first squirt is unusable due to it's discolored look. Not sure if it's oxidation or what but it's off-putting. Also it's difficult to empty the whole container as it's very stiff and hard on the finger tips to squeeze it all out. Taste is acceptable, though.

So. Ok here it goes- recipes that call for tomato paste as an ingredient In the past I’ve opened a can used a tablespoon at most and eventually thrown away the can that’s turned moldy in the back of fridge (yes I’ve tried freezing but the freezer taste-just no) Muir Glen tomato paste in a reusable bag is the answer. Not only does it make sense that I can actually use it whenever-it tastes good. The organic tomato paste is not too sweet or has a ‘tinny’ taste like from a can or tube.

I like the taste of this and not always easy to find organic tomato paste. I often don't need a whole can when using it is recipes so I love that I can use what is needed and save the rest for another time.

I stabbed myself because the strip you have to pull was in pieces and then there were two little pieces to cut thru. Knife slipped -- ouch. I wish these manufacturers would get these strips done correctly so a person can actually open the box, pouch, bottle and get to the product without injury. Now Muir Glen has excellent tomato paste. I think as good as the other triple strength and double the price one. So once you get past the strip, you are home free, plus you do not have to deal with cans, you put the cap back on and put in the fridge until you use it again. I am glad someone thought that up.
