KitchenAid K400 Variable Speed Blender with Tamper - KSB4028 - Pistachio, 56 ounces

I absolutely love my new blender!! Apart from how cute it is, it does great with blending everything. I don’t have to strain any of the items that I’m making. The speed options are simple and the cleaning function works great. Highly recommend.

WOW this blender is not what I expected..... it's FAR SUPERIOR to what I expected! I have now retired my Vitamix!! This Kitchen Aid blender is definitely right up there with the Vitamix ....if not BETTER!! This blender will make a perfect smoothie in an instant - push the button for the premade setting of smoothie, slushy, ice crushing, or clean and just walk away. No guessing when it's finished at all! It blends even small particles to very, very smooth consistency -- no chunks ever! The ice crushing is as good as your favorite Snow Cone stand! It's a perfect blender for someone looking to save several hundred dollars and still get a terrific well made blender. Lots of colors to choose from! And the big draw.....it fits perfectly under the cabinet as it is only 15" tall! I also like the rubber on the handle so it doesn't slip from your hand and has rubber feet so it doesn't slide on counter. The lid even has a tighter fit than the Vitamix. Loads of power, simple to use...just PERFECT! You WON'T be disappointed with this at all!! And if you need a great juicer, get the Nama J2!!

Updated Review: Buyer Beware This is now my fourth KitchenAid blender after multiple failures, and unfortunately, I am becoming very skeptical of the product. The first blender started smoking. The second one lasted about two years before the pulse function stopped working. KitchenAid sent me a replacement, and unfortunately, that replacement started smoking within just three days of receiving it. I want to make it very clear that I am not overloading this blender. I primarily use it for smoothies, and while I make them frequently, I am following normal usage. I even provided a video showing the issue. When I contacted customer service, they told me that I should only fill the 56-ounce pitcher halfway and essentially cut the advertised capacity in half. That is extremely frustrating when the product is marketed as a 56 oz blender. I should not have to be afraid to use the capacity the product is advertised to handle. Customer service has been helpful and they are sending another replacement, which I appreciate. However, the product itself has been subpar in my experience. Four units and multiple failures is far beyond what I would expect from a KitchenAid product, especially one that cost me nearly $300. I am sticking with it for now because I have already invested almost $300 in this blender and I want to give KitchenAid the opportunity to make this right. But something clearly seems to be going on with this product. A blender should not be smoking under normal use, and customers shouldn't be told they can only safely use half of the advertised capacity. KitchenAid, please do better. Your customer service has been good, but the product performance has not matched the KitchenAid name or the price tag. Buyer beware. And to be clear: I did not overload this blender, as you can see in the video. Wrote in 2023 So far so good. I gave up on the Ninja products as customer service was horrible. I really really hope kitchen aid can hold up as I use this mainly for smoothies as my husband and kids live by smoothies. I make up to 3 pitchers a week as this is his lunch on the go for his and my kids just really like smoothies! I'm skeptical of it though as it doesn't look as tough with the parts being made of plastic. But so far so good fingers crossed!
