I purchased these poles to use with my tarp. I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews stating they don’t fit.I can say from my experience I had no issues with fitment or durability. I’ve used them three times so far and really gave them a workout at the beach with a strong ocean breeze. The poles held up. I am super happy with my purchase.I even added a pole hook to them to hang a towel without incident. Good job!

This was the best thing to bring to get a decent shade to a beach abroad.I love that I could fit it in my carry on luggage with no issues.The assembly is very easy and you can adjust the height as you wish.These are the thickest portable poles I could find.I've used a lot of tension in the ropes and tarp because it was very windy there and the poles handled it well.I'm extremely satisfied and definitely recommend this product.The bag is just ok and mine has unstiched around the top, making the cord that closes the bag to be loose, a minor inconvenience.

These poles appear to be as good as advertised. I won't hold them to any standards higher than that. My use is to hold up a tarp The little rubber ball at the top helps to protect the tarp.

The seller contacted me and wanted details on the problem. After sending photos with measurement, they refunded 75% of the cost, which is fair since I can still use one of the poles.I haven't used these yet, but did try to assemble. I managed to make one pole from the sections provided. The others are slightly oval because they won't fit together without jamming. I tried sanding them down but couldn't get them to fit.

Great item to have for any outdoor adventure. It’s instant shelter for harshest of environments.

If I attach a tarp or canopy to the rear hatch of my SUV, these polls are great to hold out the outer two corners. They're as simple to use as tent-poles and stay quite sturdy if the corner is tied down properly with a stake.

bought them to form a tripod for my lavvus and theyre perfect. solid construction and form when assembled. the bags are crap though

Unfortunately they are not 1.5mm thick as advertised. Actual measurements of the outer aluminum tube thickness using digital caliper varied from 1.30-1.35mm. The inner joiner tube thickness is only 0.8mm. Also the fit of the inner to outer tubes is quite sloppy (nothing like a "slip fit") so the pole is really wobbly when put together. I think at this price they could make a much better pole. Fortunately the return process was simple which is why I gave it 2 stars rather than 1.
